My name is Arvind. Coming from a non-IT background, I wanted to upskill in Data Science because it is currently one of the top trending technologies in IT, along with AI. I was part of the June 2024 batch of the Logicmojo Data Science course and with the help of their team, I secured a Data Analyst role at a leading MNC.
The primary reason I am interested in data science is that, during my college, I started working on projects related to data engineering which i created my curiosity to learn more about data science and Artificial Intelligence. With the demand for data scientists job increasing day by day, I decided to build my career in this domain to grow professionally..
Logicmojo is the best platform to learn Data Science. Once I decided to upskill one of my colleague recommended Logicmojo course for data science. After seeing excellent reviews on the internet, I decided to join their 7-month Data Science course. Exciting features like one-on-one mentorship sessions are highly beneficial for students learning data science from scratch.
Over Slack, you can directly talk to your instructor anytime for any technical queries. Our instructor was super helpful even on weekdays also and I regularly communicated with the trainer during one-on-one mentorship sessions for all my project discussions and lab sessions. Logicmojo team formed groups for people based on their projects. It is the responsibility of the group to deliver the projects on time.It was a good experience learning from peers who are more experienced than me.
Logicmojo's well structured curriculum prepared me well for all my interviews. It also helping me to learn and grasp the knowledge needed for a successful career in Data Science. The mock interview sessions also enhanced my confidence and improved my ability to answer questions in job interviews without fear. Apart from Data Science skills, Logicmojo also provided its students with proper communication training. This make sure that we were confident in our answers during interviews. To reduce the stress of actual job interviews, we had a series of mock interviews as well. During my one-on-one mock interview sessions with my mentor, he guided me on how to answer questions and also helping me to improve the way I express my thought process to the interviewer. He also explained how to present my project work with a clear design so that the interviewer could align with my thought process. Any candidate who joins the Data Science batch with me can attend multiple mock interview sessions over the span of one year. Team wants to make sure that they are well prepared when they are ready to appear for interviews."
I was part of the July batch in the Data Science classes. The team helped me during the project preparation process. I developed 8 projects as part of the curriculum and the Logicmojo team included those projects on my resume. After providing me with project experience certification, team referred me to Data Scientist roles at product based organizations. My interview process is currently ongoing. Building a strong profile is also one of the great aspects of the career tracking process in the course. The team continues to refer you to product companies until you secure a role as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
