Hi Praveen here, I completed my graduation from a Tier III college, where I pursued Computer Science. I never had an excellent result or was an exceptional student. All things considered, I was actually rather mediocre. My passion for statistics and mathematics, however, was my one advantage. My desire to innovate and use technology to solve problems led me to choose to pursue coding as a career.
After graduation, I joined Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a Systems Engineer. But I always had a keen interest in data science. Data science was not just a job for me, it was something I really wanted to work on. So, when the world went into lockdown, a friend’s recommendation led me to Logicmojo’s data science program. I enrolled in the data science batch, being one of the first people to join in their introductory batch.
At first, I thought about going back to college for masters, but Logicmojo offered a better return on investment. In light of the costs at Logicmojo, I reasoned that looking for a job worth 8 to 10 lakhs were a better financial choice than enrolling in a university program that would have cost 12 – 15 lakhs, thus I kept working in TCS and on side joined Logicmojo’s data science program.
I had a good first impression of Logicmojo, especially given the way Deep Learning and Machine Learning were taught. I found the program to be extremely intuitively taught, and it clicked with me. I was given the choice to watch the lectures on record over the weeks and attend the live classes on weekends. My timetable worked out perfectly.
Apart from Data Science skills, Logicmojo also provided its students with proper communication training. This make sure that we were confident in our answers during interviews. To reduce the stress of actual job interviews, we had a series of mock interviews as well. During my one-on-one mock interview sessions with my mentor, he guided me on how to answer questions and also helping me to improve the way I express my thought process to the interviewer. He also explained how to present my project work with a clear design so that the interviewer could align with my thought process. Any candidate who joins the Data Science batch with me can attend multiple mock interview sessions over the span of one year. Team wants to make sure that they are well prepared when they are ready to appear for interviews."

The program's structure to provide hands-on learning through projects and internships is of immense help, it significantly helped me apply my theoretical knowledge practically. Additionally, the qualifications of faculty members and their industry connections greatly enhances the learning experience and future job prospects for students.
I like the course very much, and I am thankful to the faculties at Logicmojo. To anyone who is looking for a career in data science, and considering Logicmojo, I did say go for it, you get excellent faculties, mock interviews, job referrals and a lot more. All you need to do is have patience, be consistent and practice regularly.
