I was part of the January batch of the Logicmojo DSA course. I completed the 7-month DSA and System Design course, and I got placed at Microsoft in a lead role.
Hello everyone, my name is Siddharth, and I am currently working at Microsoft. After completing 8 years in IT, I decided to upskill myself and target some top product-based companies within 6 months. I had heard a lot about Logicmojo from many of my friends who also got placed after completing the training. In fact, I had a discussion with a member on LinkedIn via Topmate, and he also recommended joining the Logicmojo DSA Course for interview preparation.
So, I enrolled in Logicmojo's 7-month DSA and System Design classes. Before joining, I had a conversation with one of the team members from Logicmojo, who I believe was from the Tech team. He explained all the details about the course, including the complete course structure and the weekly study plan. After that discussion, I decided to join the course.
The classes were held on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, from 9 AM to 12 PM (IST). Each class was 3 hours long, making for a total of 6 hours of learning over the weekend. Initially, we had an introductory session where I got to meet all my batchmates. The classes were conducted in a very structured manner. The instructor focused on teaching problem-solving concepts, and everyone in the class was encouraged to participate in discussions, making the sessions highly engaging.
The DSA course began with time and space complexity, followed by topics such as Arrays, Binary Trees, and gradually advanced to more complex concepts like Tries and Graphs. After every class, assignments were given, and it was mandatory for everyone to complete them before the next session. The instructor even checked each student's assignment and provided feedback. This method of follow-up kept everyone motivated, attentive, and aligned with the class syllabus. It was one of the best learning experiences I've had, thanks to the Logicmojo team's DSA course.
Along with the classes, the Logicmojo team offers mock interview sessions so that all candidates can experience an actual interview environment and understand the types of questions typically asked. I attended these mock interviews four times. Our mentor provided feedback after each session, and I worked on all the feedback given. These mock interview sessions were incredibly helpful during my actual interview at Microsoft. In fact, many of the questions my mentor asked during the mock interviews were the same as those asked in my Microsoft interview.
Logicmojo team also offers a resume preparation service. Although I didn't use this option, many of my batchmates took advantage of it to update their resumes. They also provide a job assistance program, through which I was referred to PayPal and Intuit. Thanks to the guidance from the Logicmojo team, my interviews with PayPal and Intuit were scheduled. Although I couldn’t clear the PayPal interview, I was selected by Intuit. Meanwhile, I also received a job offer from Microsoft, so I ultimately decided to join Microsoft.
I must thank the Logicmojo team and their regular DSA classes, which truly boosted my confidence. I am currently working at a top product company thanks to the Logicmojo DSA course and their preparation strategies.
