Looking for the best AI course in Bangalore in 2026? After evaluating more than 50 AI courses in Bangalore and comparing their fees, syllabi, certifications, mentorship and placement support, I've narrowed the list down to the 10 programs that stand out. This guide explains what each one actually offers, what it costs, and who it is genuinely built for.
Here's a quick summary of what I found.
For working professionals and complete beginners who want a structured, live, end-to-end path from Python to Generative AI, Agentic AI and MLOps, LogicMojo's AI & ML Course is my #1 pick. If you want the academic weight of Bangalore's most respected science institute, the IISc program is the strongest credential. For a university PG Diploma with NLP and Computer Vision specialisations, IIIT Bangalore leads. If you only want to test your interest, Udemy's A-Z course costs less than a meal out, and myTectra is the cheapest way to learn in a physical classroom. Google Cloud and Coursera–IBM are specialisations for FinTech and HealthTech, ExcelR is a fast GenAI add-on for people who already know ML, and Skillshare is for designers and marketers who will never write a model.
To be precise: none of the courses on this page will guarantee you a job. Anything that claims or promises otherwise is worth questioning.

Why I bothered writing this
I've spent more than ten years hiring for AI roles in Bangalore's tech industry, and I see the same pattern in almost every hiring cycle. My inbox is full of resumes with AI course certificates. Very few of them tell me whether the candidate can actually build anything.
The candidates who stand out are the ones who didn't just watch videos. When I reviewed two capstone projects from recent LogicMojo alumni, one a real-time stock predictor and the other a deployed chatbot, what mattered wasn't the code alone. It was that both candidates could explain their design choices: why they picked one architecture over another, what broke, and how they fixed it.
Meanwhile, the market selling courses to these candidates has grown noisy. Bangalore has more than 50 institutes offering AI programs, and many still teach notebook-era ML while hiring managers, from MNCs like Microsoft to Series B startups in Koramangala, are building with LLMs. When I talk to learners, the same complaints come up again and again, and I've listed them in the overview above.
Each course on this page is judged on one question: what can you demonstrate in an interview after completing it, and who is it actually designed for? A certificate stops you at "Certificate Holder" or "Theory Learner". Bangalore employers hire at "Interview-Ready" and "Placed AI Pro", meaning a portfolio you can defend plus real interview preparation. Most courses stop short of that gap. This ranking is about closing it.

Why the 2026 decision is different from 2025
Before I re-ranked anything, I went back to what Bangalore interviewers are actually testing. Four things changed my view of these programs.
Interviews have moved past classical ML. At product companies, GCCs and AI-first startups in Bangalore, interviews now routinely cover LLM fundamentals, RAG design, agent patterns and production deployment, on top of classical ML and DSA. Classical ML is still expected, but it no longer differentiates you. DSA is still used as a filter.
Many courses haven't caught up. When I scored the ten programs against the five "2026" competencies (LLMs and prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, agents, and MLOps), half of them scored 15% or lower. They are preparing you for the 2022 job market while promising 2026 outcomes.
Demand is concentrated here. According to LinkedIn data, there are 12,000+ open roles for AI and Data Science in Bangalore, and Glassdoor reports an average AI Engineer salary of ₹18 LPA for professionals with 2–4 years of experience. The city is home to 4,000+ tech companies, including Google, Microsoft and Amazon, and 350+ AI startups, plus IISc and IIIT Bangalore. (Further reading: LinkedIn Jobs, McKinsey – State of AI, Analytics Insight.)
Placement claims are not comparable. "Average salary", "100% placement" and logo walls are measured differently by every provider. In 2026, checking the claims matters as much as checking the syllabus. I cover exactly how to do that in the 14-point checklist below.
Roles are emerging, the pay is real, and there is a shortage of people who can deploy and maintain AI systems in production. That gap is an opportunity, but a certificate alone won't bridge it. Evaluating the syllabus is the most useful first step any learner can take.
How this ranking was created
I analysed more than 50 AI courses in Bangalore and spent 40+ hours researching each shortlisted program. The team consulted 15+ Bangalore tech experts, and the guide was peer-reviewed by five AI/ML practitioners: Suvom Shaw (Senior AI Architect, Samsung R&D Division), Rishabh Gupta (Senior Data Scientist, Uber), Sankalp Jain (Senior Data Scientist, IIT Kharagpur Alum), Monesh Venkul Vommi (Senior Data Scientist, InRhythm) and Mohamed Shirhaan (Senior Lead, Walmart Global Tech). Their profiles are in the expert panel at the end of this guide.
The rank order relied on six criteria, applied identically to every course:
- Industry-ready curriculum. Does it teach what Bangalore companies are hiring for now: Generative AI, MLOps and LLM fine-tuning? Weekly conversations with local hiring managers confirm these are the skills separating candidates with multiple offers from those who get ghosted.
- Expert mentorship. Are the mentors current practitioners who have deployed models and dealt with the messy reality of production? (Instructor expertise)
- Hands-on projects. Do the capstones mirror real Bangalore work, such as recommendation engines for e-commerce, fraud detection for FinTech or churn models for SaaS? (Course evaluation criteria)
- Verified placements. Is there evidence of real hiring relationships and salary jumps, rather than resume templates and job alerts?
- Student reviews. What do alumni say on LinkedIn, Reddit and Quora? I weight feedback from the last six months most heavily, and treat a pattern of recent complaints about outdated content or missing placement support as a major red flag.
- Flexibility and value. Fee structure, EMI options, and weekend or evening batches that fit a working professional's week. A ₹2 lakh program with Saturday classes and easy payment plans can offer more value than a rigid ₹3 lakh course that demands weekday attendance.
What I deliberately did not reward: polished testimonials on a provider's own website, and "placement support" that can't be traced to real job titles at verifiable companies. Market data was cross-referenced with LinkedIn Jobs, McKinsey's State of AI report and Analytics Insight. Syllabi change between batches, so verify the latest version before you enrol.
Top 10 AI Courses in Bangalore 2026: Side-by-Side Comparison
Use the filters to narrow the list by budget or mode. The table is wide, so scroll it sideways on mobile.
A few remarks on fees. Most providers list an offer price next to a higher list price, and some quote fees without GST. LogicMojo, for example, lists ₹54,000 as the offer fee against a list price of ₹65,000 + GST. "Market CTC" in the table shows typical salary ranges for the target roles. It is not a placement outcome. Always confirm the actual payable fee in writing before making a payment.

First, Determine the Kind of Credential You Need
This is the step most people skip, and it is the main reason they end up in the wrong program. The ten courses on this page produce three different kinds of credential. Each solves a different problem, and they aren't interchangeable.
Type 1 – Industry certification: issued by a training provider or a technology company. Its value lies in what you can show afterwards (projects, deployed work, interview performance) rather than in the certificate itself. Examples: the LogicMojo certificate, DataMites' IABAC™ certification, the Google Cloud credential, the IBM + Coursera certificate, and the ExcelR certificate.
Type 2 – Academic credential: a certificate or PG Diploma from a recognised institute. Its value is the institution's name: it passes HR filters and carries academic weight with R&D labs. Examples: the IISc CCE certificate and the IIIT Bangalore PG Diploma.
Type 3 – Tool-level or self-paced completion certificate: proof that you completed a self-paced course or learned to use AI tools without coding. Useful for exploring or for non-engineering roles, but it won't carry a career switch on its own. Examples: Skillshare (no-code creative tools) and Udemy (self-paced overview).
Before you book any counselling session, decide which of the three you actually need. If you're still unsure, no comparison will help you.
1. LogicMojo – AI & ML Course
Of everything I looked at, the LogicMojo AI & ML Course was the most job-focused. It is the only program on this list that takes a complete beginner from Python fundamentals through Deep Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI and MLOps deployment in one structured, weekend-friendly track, with unlimited 1:1 mentor access and placement support at a sub-₹1 lakh price point.
What's actually in it
The 7 months start from absolute zero: Python basics and statistics fundamentals first, then ML algorithms (regression, trees, ensembles, clustering), Deep Learning with TensorFlow and PyTorch, NLP with Transformers (the technology behind ChatGPT), Generative AI and LLMs including GPT models, Agentic AI (tool use and multi-step agents), and production MLOps covering deployment, scaling and monitoring. DSA for AI interviews is built into the preparation rather than left for you to figure out.
Classes are live on weekends (8–10 hours a week) in a hybrid format, with a centre in Panathur. Learners build 10+ beginner-to-advanced industry projects, including a GenAI customer-service chatbot, a RAG knowledge assistant, an agentic AI workflow and a model deployed as a live API with FastAPI, Docker and CI/CD. The tools covered include TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face and Docker.
In the curriculum scorecard further down, LogicMojo scores "Deep" on LLMs and prompting, RAG, agents and MLOps, which gives it a 95% 2026 AI-readiness score, the highest on this list.
The Part That Actually Differentiates It
Most programs treat GenAI as a module bolted onto a data science syllabus. LogicMojo is built around the full chain that Bangalore interviews now test, and every layer of that chain is covered in one track:
| Technology layer | Typical AI course | What Bangalore interviews test | LogicMojo coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Python & Statistics | Covered | Expected baseline | From absolute zero |
| Classical ML | Heavy focus | Expected, not differentiating | Strong foundation |
| Deep Learning | Usually covered | Tested | TensorFlow & PyTorch |
| LLMs & Prompt Engineering | Overview only | Increasingly tested | Generative AI & LLM modules |
| RAG & Agentic AI | Rarely covered | Fast-growing interview topic | Agentic AI module + projects |
| MLOps & Deployment | Basic or skipped | Tested at mid-senior level | Production-ready MLOps |
| DSA for AI Roles | Often skipped | Still used as a filter | Integrated into prep |
This matters more than it first appears. A candidate who can talk through classical ML, then explain how they built and evaluated a RAG system, then answer a DSA round, is covering the whole interview loop. Programs that stop at notebooks leave you with a portfolio that looks like thousands of other applicants'.
LogicMojo AI Community & 1:1 Code Reviews
This is the feature I'd highlight in an interview. Every project gets a 1:1 code review from a senior AI practitioner, so your GitHub ends up with clean, deployable work and clear READMEs. That's the difference between being shortlisted and being ignored. Beyond the mentor, the LogicMojo AI Community has 1,200+ active builders who have shipped 500+ peer-reviewed projects and logged 8,400+ GitHub commits. You can see the live GitHub activity yourself.
Placement support goes beyond "assistance": mock interviews that include DSA, ML theory, system design and project deep-dives; an AI/ML-focused resume and LinkedIn profile; 1:1 career coaching on which roles and company types to target (product companies, GCCs or AI-first startups); and an internship component and certificate included in the fee. LogicMojo reports an 87% placement rate. As with every provider on this page, ask for batch-wise data before you rely on that number.
Public examples from LogicMojo's published success stories, each with a linked LinkedIn profile: Anjani Kumar, now a Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon (295% salary increase, full story); Praveen Kumar, AI Engineer and GenAI Developer at RevealIT (160%, full story); and Prem Raj, a Generative AI Developer at Infosys who switched from software development (210%, full story). These are individual outcomes, not averages.
What I think of it
This is the option I'd recommend to someone in mid-career, or to a recent graduate who is serious about landing an AI/ML role in Bangalore rather than just collecting knowledge.
Its strength isn't any single feature. It's that all the design decisions point the same way. Live classes instead of recordings, because accountability matters. Weekends instead of weekdays, because most learners can't burn PTO. Deployed projects instead of case studies, because interviewers ask follow-up questions. 1:1 mentorship instead of a Q&A forum, because beginners get stuck.
What I'd push back on: it isn't the cheapest option, and the 7-month program is intensive. You need to commit to weekend classes with real-time coding sessions. LogicMojo offers placement support rather than a job guarantee, which is honest. Treat any program that promises more with suspicion.
The honest summary: if you are switching careers or starting one, and you want a single structured path that covers 2026 topics end to end, this is the strongest fit on the list. Its scores on curriculum depth × mentorship and placement support ÷ price paid were the highest of any course here.

Who should not take this
- Anyone who only needs an overview. Udemy (₹609) and myTectra (₹12,000) cost far less.
- Anyone who needs a university credential. IISc and IIIT Bangalore carry academic weight that LogicMojo doesn't.
- Anyone aiming at pure research. IISc's theory-first program is better for R&D and higher studies.
- Anyone who needs a fully self-paced format. The live-batch structure requires schedule discipline.
- Anyone who wants deep domain specialisation. Google Cloud (FinTech) and Coursera–IBM (HealthTech) go further in their niches.
Best for: complete beginners, working professionals with no AI background, and recent graduates who want a practical, project-based path into AI and ML roles. Trade-off: a 7-month weekend commitment, and an industry certificate rather than an academic degree.
Duration: 7 months · Format: Live weekend classes (8–10 hrs/week), hybrid, Panathur · Fee: ₹54,000 offer (list ₹65,000 + GST), no-cost EMI · Certification: LogicMojo certificate · Rating: ★ 4.9 (4,410 reviews)

2. IISc Bangalore – AI & ML Program
The IISc AI & ML program (through IISc's Centre for Continuing Education) is primarily a chance to put one of India's most respected science institutes on your resume.
What's actually in it
A 3-month online cohort focused on the mathematical and statistical principles behind AI: probability, statistics and hypothesis testing, linear algebra for ML, regression and classification, model evaluation and validation, and an introduction to neural networks, with applied assignments on real datasets. It's taught by IISc faculty and researchers.
What I think of it
I value it for the foundation. It explains why algorithms work, and that understanding doesn't go out of date the way framework syntax does. IISc's name carries serious weight with Bangalore's R&D labs and product companies, which makes this the strongest academic credential on the list.
Set expectations, though. This is certificate-only, with no dedicated placement cell, and the 2026 topics are largely absent: RAG, fine-tuning and agents are not covered, and LLMs and MLOps are basic. In the scorecard it gets a 10% 2026 AI-readiness score. An online certificate also doesn't come with campus placement drives. That isn't a flaw, just the nature of online programs, but you should know it before you enrol.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditLinkedInShiksha
Who should not take this
Anyone who needs a quick career switch with job-ready frameworks, structured placement support or GenAI depth. Anyone without basic maths and statistics.
Best for: recent graduates, aspiring researchers and professionals who want a prestigious, university-backed certificate and a deep theoretical base. Trade-off: academic focus, little 2026 GenAI content, no placement cell.
Duration: 3 months · Format: Online cohort, faculty-led · Fee: ₹80,000 (list ₹95,000) · Certification: IISc CCE certificate · Prerequisites: maths and statistics basics
3. IIIT Bangalore – PG Diploma in AI & Data Science
This PG Diploma from IIIT Bangalore, delivered with upGrad, is for someone who wants a university diploma rather than a certificate.
What's actually in it
Six months, online, with live and recorded sessions. The syllabus covers Python, SQL and statistics, advanced machine learning and deep learning, followed by specialisations in NLP and Computer Vision, and an industry capstone that solves a real business problem. It's taught by a dual faculty of IIIT-B professors and industry experts. Graduates get access to upGrad's career services, including mock interviews and a hiring network.
What I think of it
If a university credential is your goal, this pathway is worth considering, and its NLP and Computer Vision specialisations are the deepest on the list. If university branding matters most to you, upGrad's career services make this the strongest alternative to the #1 pick.
Two cautions, both verifiable. First, on GenAI depth: LLMs, RAG and MLOps are moderate, while fine-tuning and agents are basic, giving it a 40% 2026 AI-readiness score. If agentic AI engineering is your target, ask for the hours spent on agents and the related projects. Second, on cost: at ₹2,75,000 this is a premium program, a significant time and financial commitment aimed at a large career leap, not just a new skill.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditMediumShiksha
Who should not take this
Complete beginners without technical experience, anyone whose main goal is building agentic AI systems, and anyone looking for an affordable first step.
Best for: professionals with some technical experience who want a formal university credential and to specialise in NLP or Computer Vision for senior roles. Trade-off: premium fee, online-only, lighter on agents and fine-tuning.
Duration: 6 months · Format: Online, live + recorded sessions · Fee: ₹2,75,000 (EMI via partners) · Certification: PG Diploma, IIIT Bangalore
4. DataMites – Artificial Intelligence Engineer Course
The DataMites AI Engineer Course is about the practical reality of building end-to-end AI systems rather than academic theory.
What's actually in it
Four months, on weekends, with a classroom option in Bangalore. It covers Python and statistics for AI, machine learning and deep learning, the full model development lifecycle, MLOps and deployment, Generative AI essentials and business case studies. Training uses an internship-style approach with case studies that mirror real tasks, led by industry-certified trainers. Graduates receive an IABAC™ certification and placement assistance with Bangalore hiring partners.
What I think of it
Its deployment focus is its strength. MLOps scores "Deep" in the scorecard, joint-highest on this list. Pushing learners beyond notebooks into the deployment lifecycle teaches exactly the skill many Bangalore teams are short of. The weekend classroom option is rare among programs at this depth.
Where I'd manage expectations: the newer GenAI layers are thinner, with LLMs and RAG moderate and fine-tuning and agents basic (a 50% 2026 AI-readiness score). Mock interviews, resume support and coaching are listed as limited in the placement comparison, so ask what "placement assistance" includes in practice.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditTrustpilotMediumAmbitionBox
Who should not take this
Anyone aiming for pure AI research, and anyone who needs deep agentic AI coverage.
Best for: working professionals in Bangalore who want a practical, hands-on curriculum with a classroom option, and managers who need to understand the project lifecycle to lead technical teams. Trade-off: less theoretical depth, thinner on the newest GenAI topics.
Duration: 4 months · Format: Weekend, hybrid with classroom option · Fee: ₹2,00,000 · Certification: IABAC™ · Prerequisites: basic programming helpful
5. Udemy – Artificial Intelligence A-Z
Artificial Intelligence A-Z on Udemy is the most affordable way to survey the whole AI landscape before committing to anything bigger.
What's actually in it
Self-paced, pre-recorded videos with lifetime access, covering Python and an introduction to data science, neural networks and deep learning, Q-Learning and Deep Q-Learning, and reinforcement learning agents, with hands-on coding exercises and mini-projects. Questions go through a Q&A forum. There's no 1:1 mentorship.
What I think of it
At under ₹1,000, the real value is optionality. It explains a huge range of complex topics, and the coding sections build confidence. I'd encourage someone to start here rather than hold back and not start at all.
The main weakness of this format is that people often don't finish. Without external accountability, there's no mentor to check in if you go silent for weeks. The certificate won't make Bangalore recruiters chase you, and the 2026 topics are largely missing (a 10% 2026 AI-readiness score). Use it to verify your interest or to supplement a structured program, not as your whole career-change plan.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditShikshaMedium
Who should not take this
Anyone who needs accountability, career support or interview preparation. Anyone treating it as a direct substitute for a structured program.
Best for: self-disciplined learners on a tight budget who want a broad overview before committing to a specialised program. Trade-off: no live instruction, no career support, no structured accountability.
Duration: Self-paced · Format: Pre-recorded, lifetime access · Fee: ₹609 (list ₹1,300) · Certification: Udemy certificate · Prerequisites: basic Python
6. myTectra – AI Training in Bangalore
myTectra's AI training is built entirely around the Bangalore job market: a practical, no-frills classroom program in BTM Layout.
What's actually in it
Five months of in-person classes covering Python for AI, data handling with NumPy and Pandas, core machine-learning algorithms, an introduction to neural networks, and the tooling used in day-one AI/ML roles, with classroom projects. The provider lists an internship component and career services.
What I think of it
It addresses a barrier that online programs ignore: some people simply learn better with an instructor in the room. In-person instructors who understand the city's tech scene are a real plus, and at ₹12,000 it is the cheapest classroom option on this list.
Now, the honest part. The AI depth is limited compared with the specialised programs. Coverage of the 2026 topics (production RAG, agents, fine-tuning, LLMOps) is missing, which gives it a 10% 2026 AI-readiness score. It's a solid start for fundamentals, not a path to a GenAI or agentic AI engineering role. Classes run on weekdays, so check that the schedule fits your job, and confirm current placement data directly with the institute.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditAmbitionBox
Who should not take this
Working professionals targeting a GenAI or agentic AI role, and anyone who can't attend weekday classroom sessions.
Best for: beginners on a budget who prefer in-person classroom training in Bangalore. Trade-off: limited depth on advanced GenAI and agentic AI topics.
Duration: 5 months · Format: In-person classes, BTM Layout · Fee: ₹12,000 (list ₹15,000) · Certification: Course certificate · Prerequisites: none stated
7. Google Cloud – Use AI for Finance
Google Cloud's AI for Finance track is a specialisation for Bangalore's FinTech scene.
What's actually in it
Four months, online, applying AI to financial data: fraud detection, risk modelling and algorithmic trading strategies, built and deployed on Google Cloud Platform. It's taught by Google Cloud FinTech solution architects and AI experts, and ends with an official Google Cloud certification.
What I think of it
Once you've mastered the fundamentals, specialisation is where the value lies, and "Google Cloud" plus "AI in Finance" is a strong combination on a resume for specialised roles. Hands-on work happens inside the platform itself, not in toy notebooks.
It's deliberately narrow, though. Classical ML depth is moderate, RAG and fine-tuning are basic, and agents are not covered (a 35% 2026 AI-readiness score). It isn't a beginner course. Learners without a finance or data background will struggle to get full value.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditMedium
Who should not take this
Beginners without a relevant background, and anyone who wants a broad, career-switch AI curriculum.
Best for: working professionals in finance, economics or software development who want to pivot into FinTech AI, including aspiring quantitative analysts. Trade-off: narrow domain focus, premium fee, no agentic AI.
Duration: 4 months · Format: Online, expert-led · Fee: ₹2,80,000 (list ₹3,10,000) · Certification: Google Cloud · Prerequisites: finance or data background
8. Coursera–IBM – AI in Healthcare
The AI in Healthcare specialisation on Coursera with IBM is a focused HealthTech track.
What's actually in it
Five months, self-paced: medical imaging with CNNs, predictive diagnosis models, bioinformatics, working with DICOM images and electronic health records, and the ethics and data-privacy issues specific to medicine. Instruction comes from IBM data scientists and researchers. Learners earn a dual-branded IBM + Coursera certificate.
What I think of it
The attention to ethics and patient-data privacy is something generic AI courses miss completely, and the real medical datasets make the portfolio relevant to HealthTech recruiters. Computer Vision is "Deep" in the scorecard, which is joint-highest.
The main weakness is the format. It's self-paced, with no live mentorship and no placement services, so completion depends entirely on your discipline. GenAI coverage is minimal (a 10% 2026 AI-readiness score).
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditMediumSwitchUp
Who should not take this
Anyone learning AI from scratch, anyone who needs live mentorship or placement support, and anyone targeting GenAI engineering.
Best for: healthcare professionals, medical researchers and software engineers moving into HealthTech who want to use their existing domain knowledge. Trade-off: no live contact, no career support.
Duration: 5 months · Format: Self-paced · Fee: ₹2,30,000 (as listed) · Certification: IBM + Coursera · Prerequisites: Python + ML basics
9. ExcelR – Generative AI Course
ExcelR's Generative AI Course focuses on the most in-demand skill set right now, in a short, fast-paced format.
What's actually in it
Two months, online and trainer-led, with a centre in Marathahalli. It covers prompt engineering, LLM fundamentals, fine-tuning LLMs, RAG pipelines and Generative AI applications, with multiple hands-on GenAI projects. Graduates get an ExcelR certificate and access to its Bangalore placement network.
What I think of it
For GenAI specifically, it's the deepest course here after the #1 pick: LLMs, RAG and fine-tuning all score "Deep", giving it an 80% 2026 AI-readiness score. Adding focused GenAI projects to your portfolio is a quick way to get a recruiter's attention.
But it's a specialisation, not a foundation. Python, statistics and classical ML are basic, agents are moderate, and two months is very fast. At ₹3,00,000 it's also the most expensive course on the list.
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditMediumAmbitionBox
Who should not take this
Anyone without solid ML fundamentals, and anyone who wants to learn AI from scratch.
Best for: ML practitioners who want to add GenAI skills quickly and target senior or specialised AI Engineer roles. Trade-off: highest fee, fast pace, thin foundations.
Duration: 2 months · Format: Online, fast-paced, trainer-led · Fee: ₹3,00,000 (list ₹3,25,000) · Certification: ExcelR certificate · Prerequisites: ML fundamentals
10. Skillshare – Generative AI for Creatives
Generative AI for Creatives on Skillshare is for the other half of the tech ecosystem: designers, marketers and writers.
What's actually in it
Three months, self-paced and entirely project-based: prompting for Midjourney and ChatGPT, AI image generation, AI copywriting and marketing assets, and creative workflows, ending in a portfolio of AI-generated creative work. It's taught by practising digital artists and creative professionals.
What I think of it
Knowing how to use these tools well is a real differentiator on a creative resume, and the project-based structure means you apply things immediately. Just be clear about what it isn't: it teaches you to use models, not to build them. Apart from LLM fundamentals and prompt engineering (rated Good), every engineering row in the scorecard is "Not Covered".
Independent reviews: QuoraRedditTrustpilotMedium
Who should not take this
Anyone targeting an AI Engineer role, or anyone who wants to learn coding and model building.
Best for: graphic designers, marketers, writers and product managers who want to use AI tools in their current role. Trade-off: tool-level only, no placement support.
Duration: 3 months · Format: Self-paced, project-based · Fee: ₹75,000 (list ₹90,000) · Certification: Skillshare certificate · Prerequisites: none

1. The 2026 Curriculum Problem — And How LogicMojo Solves It
We mapped every course against the skills Bangalore hiring managers say separate candidates who get multiple offers from those who get ghosted. The finding was stark: many AI courses still teach 2022-era content while promising 2026-era outcomes. Interviews at product companies, GCCs and AI-first startups in Bangalore now routinely test LLM fundamentals, RAG design, agent patterns and production deployment — on top of classical ML and DSA. LogicMojo is one of the few Generative AI and Agentic AI programs that covers all of these in a single track, starting from Python basics.
| Technology Layer | Typical AI Course | What Bangalore Interviews Test | LogicMojo Coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Python & Statistics | ✅ Covered | ✅ Expected baseline | ✅ From absolute zero |
| Classical ML | ✅ Heavy focus | ✅ Expected, not differentiating | ✅ Strong foundation |
| Deep Learning | ✅ Usually covered | ✅ Tested | ✅ TensorFlow & PyTorch |
| LLMs & Prompt Engineering | ⚠️ Overview only | ✅ Increasingly tested | ✅ Generative AI & LLM modules |
| RAG & Agentic AI | ❌ Rarely covered | ✅ Fast-growing interview topic | ✅ Agentic AI module + projects |
| MLOps & Deployment | ⚠️ Basic or skipped | ✅ Tested at mid-senior level | ✅ Production-ready MLOps |
| DSA for AI Roles | ❌ Often skipped | ✅ Still used as a filter | ✅ Integrated into prep |

2. Placement Infrastructure — Not Just "Assistance"
This is where LogicMojo most clearly separates itself from programs that stop at resume templates and job alerts. Across the ten courses we compared, LogicMojo's support was the most complete below the ₹1 lakh price tier — here is what it includes:
- Unlimited 1:1 Mentorship
1:1 guidance and code reviews from a senior AI architect who mentors you through each project — available whenever you get stuck.
- Weekend Live Classes
Real-time coding sessions on weekends, structured for working professionals learning AI for the first time while managing a job.
- Mock Interviews with DSA
Interview preparation that integrates DSA alongside ML theory, system design and project deep-dives — the rounds Bangalore AI roles actually run.
- Resume Building
AI/ML-focused resume that showcases deployed projects, quantified impact and the right keywords for recruiter searches.
- Career Coaching
Guidance on which roles and company types to target — product companies, GCCs or AI-first startups — and how to position your experience.
- Internship & Certification
Placement support, an internship component and a completion certificate are all included in the program fee.
- GitHub Portfolio & Code Reviews
1:1 code reviews on every project, so your GitHub shows clean, deployable work with clear READMEs — the difference between being shortlisted and being ignored.
- Bangalore Hiring Network
Placement support aimed at Bangalore's product companies, MNCs and AI startups, with role-by-role guidance on where your profile fits best.
3. Project Quality — What Gets You Through Technical Interviews

Cost vs value analysis
AI course prices in Bangalore don't track mentored contact timeLook at the middle of the market. LogicMojo is ₹54,000, Skillshare ₹75,000 and IISc ₹80,000. All three are priced within ₹26,000 of each other, yet one is a full-stack live program with 1:1 mentorship and placement support, one is a no-code tools course, and one is a three-month academic cohort. Within this band, there's almost no link between price and what you get.
The biggest gaps appear at the extremes. Udemy costs ₹609 and ExcelR ₹3,00,000, a difference of nearly 500x. That gap reflects a real distinction: one is a low-risk way to try the subject, the other a fast, trainer-led specialisation with a placement network. The same pattern runs through the whole market. You're paying for live interaction and accountability, not for content. Content itself is close to free. The expensive part is having an expert review your work and tell you it isn't good enough yet.
So the real question behind "is this course worth ₹2 lakh?" is more specific: how many hours of expert human attention will I get, and under what conditions? Ask providers directly for that figure. The reputable ones will answer quickly.
I wrote the rest of this section because people regularly sign agreements they haven't read. Here's what to check before you do.
No-cost EMI is genuinely helpful if it really costs nothing extra. LogicMojo offers no-cost EMI, and IIIT-B offers EMI through partners. For most other providers, the placement comparison says "ask provider". Check whether the total is the same whether you pay upfront or in instalments. If the EMI total is higher, the difference is interest under another name. Get both figures in writing.
GST and list prices. Seven of the ten courses show an offer price beside a higher list price, and some quote fees before GST (LogicMojo's list price is ₹65,000 + GST). Ask what the payable total is and what the offer depends on.
Income Share Agreements, bonds and lock-ins. Some providers in the wider market include clauses that require you to accept any offer or pay a penalty, or to give up part of your future salary. Read the refund window, ISA repayment terms, minimum-CTC conditions and location restrictions. If a provider is reluctant to share the agreement before you pay, treat that as a serious warning.
Curriculum Depth. This is the location of the 2026 Topics
Here's the comparison I wish I'd had at the start. It shows how thoroughly each program covers the competencies Bangalore AI interviews test. The rows marked "2026" (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agents and MLOps) are what separate shortlisted candidates today. The ratings reflect my reading of each provider's published syllabus as summarised in this guide. Syllabi change, so verify the details before enrolling.
The full Curriculum Depth & 2026 AI-Readiness Scorecard appears earlier in this guide, right after the LogicMojo AI Community section.
A close look at the scorecard shows that most programs offer limited or no coverage of agents, fine-tuning and production MLOps. Only two score above 50% on the 2026 rows: LogicMojo (95%) and ExcelR (80%). DataMites scores 50%, IIIT Bangalore 40% and Google Cloud 35%, while IISc, Udemy, myTectra and Coursera–IBM score 10% and Skillshare 15%. Specialist courses (Google Cloud, Coursera–IBM, Skillshare) are intentionally narrow: strong in their domain, but not full career-switch programs. So when a counsellor says "we cover GenAI", ask when the syllabus was last updated and which frameworks are actually taught. For more on these skills, see the Generative AI course and agentic AI vs generative AI guides.
AI salaries in Bangalore (2026): stop looking at averages
Your salary after an AI course depends far more on your prior experience, the quality of your portfolio and your interview performance than on the course itself. These are the bands worth targeting by level:
| Experience level | Expected salary (per annum) | Typical roles |
|---|---|---|
| Entry-level (0–2 yrs) | ₹8 LPA – ₹15 LPA | Data Analyst, Junior AI Engineer, ML Associate |
| Mid-level (2–5 yrs) | ₹15 LPA – ₹28 LPA | AI Engineer, Data Scientist, ML Engineer |
| Senior (5+ yrs) | ₹28 LPA – ₹50+ LPA | Senior Data Scientist, AI Architect, ML Lead |
Why "stop looking at averages"? Because an average is easily skewed by one or two outliers. When a provider advertises an "average salary of ₹18 LPA", ask for the median and the 25th–75th percentile CTC, and whether the figure includes only AI/ML roles. The "Market CTC" column in the comparison table, such as ₹8–28 LPA for LogicMojo's target roles or ₹20–40 LPA for ExcelR's GenAI/NLP roles, describes the market for those roles, not what a given batch earned.
Salary-hike figures are even harder to compare. Individual stories, like the 295%, 160% and 210% hikes in LogicMojo's published success stories, are real data points, but they depend on the starting salary. A hike from a low base looks dramatic. Treat any single percentage as context, not a promise. For current benchmarks, see the AI engineer salary guide or use the salary calculator on this page.
How AI hiring in Bangalore works in 2026
Bangalore AI hiring comes from four broad kinds of employer: product companies, global capability centres (GCCs), AI-first startups and large MNCs and IT services firms. The loop typically includes a DSA or coding round (still used as a filter), ML theory, a system-design round for mid-senior roles, and a project deep-dive where you defend your design choices. Increasingly, GenAI questions on LLMs, RAG and agents appear in every round.
That's why "placement assistance" and real placement support aren't the same thing:
| "Placement assistance" (what many courses offer) | Real placement support (what works) |
|---|---|
| Resume forwarding to a job portal | A mentor or placement contact who knows your profile |
| Access to a generic job board | Multiple technical and HR mock interviews with detailed feedback |
| A few group resume-review sessions | AI/ML-specific resume and LinkedIn optimisation |
| Occasional hiring drives with no guaranteed interviews | Interview prep covering DSA, ML theory, system design and projects |
| No contractual obligation to help you get placed | Transparent, batch-wise outcomes |
The Placement & Mentorship Infrastructure Comparison earlier in this guide shows what each course on this list actually provides, so you can separate genuine career infrastructure from marketing language.
Is an IISc or IIIT-B credential worth more than a live industry program?
It depends entirely on what you need the credential to do. A university PG Diploma or certificate and a live industry program are both good options, but they serve different goals.
| Attribute | PG Diploma / university program (e.g. IIIT-B, IISc) | Live industry program (e.g. LogicMojo) |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Academic prestige, R&D roles, senior-level upskilling | Fast career transitions, practical job skills, portfolio building |
| Duration | Longer (9–18 months for typical PG Diplomas; IIIT-B's here is 6 months, IISc's 3 months) | Shorter (6–7 months) |
| Cost | Very high for PG Diplomas (₹2.5L – ₹8L+); ₹80,000 for the IISc certificate | High value (₹50k – ₹1L) |
| Curriculum | Deep, theoretical, academic | Practical, job-focused, project-based (e.g. MLOps, GenAI) |
If you want a practical AI Engineer job fast, a mentored live program is better: it's faster, more affordable and focused on the projects Bangalore hiring managers want to see. If you're aiming for R&D or a senior strategic role, the university brand, peer network and theoretical depth are worth more.
One thing people often miss: online university certificates give you a credential for your resume, but they don't include campus placement drives. IISc's program is certificate-only with no placement cell, and IIIT-B's career support comes through upGrad's services, not campus recruitment. That isn't a flaw. Just know it before you pay.
AI course vs PG Diploma vs university certificate vs self-learning
| Path | Example on this list | Time | Cost | Live mentorship | Placement support | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Live industry AI course | LogicMojo, DataMites, ExcelR | 2–7 months | ₹54,000 – ₹3,00,000 | Yes | Yes / assistance / network | Career switchers who need structure and interview prep |
| University PG Diploma | IIIT Bangalore | 6 months | ₹2,75,000 | Faculty + industry | Career services (upGrad) | Professionals who need a formal credential |
| University certificate | IISc Bangalore | 3 months | ₹80,000 | Faculty-led | No | Theory, research, brand |
| Domain specialisation | Google Cloud, Coursera–IBM | 4–5 months | ₹2,30,000 – ₹2,80,000 | Online / none | Listed / none | Professionals already in FinTech or HealthTech |
| Self-learning | Udemy, Skillshare | Self-paced | ₹609 – ₹75,000 | No | No | Testing interest, supplementing a program |
Self-learning works for some people, but only with a disciplined study schedule and a publicly committed project. Without that, low completion rates will affect you just as much as anyone else.
The six mistakes I observed people make:
- Trusting a "100% placement guarantee". Genuine unconditional guarantees are rare. "Guarantee" often means within 12 months, accepting any offer above a minimum CTC, in any city, in any role. Ask for the exact contractual terms in writing.
- Comparing average salaries. An "average salary of ₹18 LPA" can be skewed by a couple of outliers. Compare medians and percentile ranges for AI/ML roles only.
- Choosing by logos and website testimonials. "Placed at Google, Amazon, Microsoft" tells you nothing without how many learners, from which batch, in which year and in what role. Every provider shows glowing testimonials, so cross-check alumni on LinkedIn, Reddit and Quora.
- Picking a course built for a different level. Beginners who enrol in fast specialisations like ExcelR, and experienced engineers who pay for Python basics, both struggle. Match the prerequisites to where you are now.
- Paying for a 2022 syllabus in 2026. If a course scores Basic or Not Covered across the 2026 rows (LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agents, MLOps), it's preparing you for an older job market.
- Signing without reading the fine print. Bond clauses, ISA repayment terms, refund windows and location conditions can all bite later. Cumulative "all-time" placement numbers can also hide weaker recent batches, so ask for batch-wise data.
The 14-point checklist I'd use before paying anyone
Curriculum
- When was the syllabus last updated, and does it cover all five 2026 areas: LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agents and MLOps?
- Which frameworks and tools are taught by name (for example PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, a vector database, Docker)?
- Are the projects deployed and domain-framed, or generic case studies on pre-cleaned datasets?
Training
- How much of the program is live, and how much is recorded?
- Are the mentors current practitioners who have deployed models in production?
- Will someone review your code 1:1, or only answer questions on a forum?
- Does the schedule (weekend, evening or weekday) fit around your job?
Certification
- Who issues the certificate: the provider, a technology company or a university?
- Does that credential type match what you need (industry skills, an academic credential, or tool-level proof)?
Career support
- Can they share batch-wise data for the last three batches: enrolled, placed, median CTC, companies and roles?
- Will they connect you with recent graduates you can speak to?
- Are mock interviews (including DSA), AI/ML resume and LinkedIn support and 1:1 coaching included, or only "assistance"?
Cost and Terms
- What is the total payable fee including GST, and is EMI genuinely no-cost?
- Have you read the full enrolment agreement, including bond, ISA, minimum-CTC, location and refund terms, before paying?
How to Select the Right AI Course in Bangalore for You
Once you've shortlisted two or three programs with the scenario table, verify each one's track record with these six steps:
- LinkedIn alumni audit. Search "[Course Name] ML engineer" or "[Course Name] data scientist" and filter by recent years. Real placements show up as real job titles at verifiable companies.
- Request batch-wise data. Ask for the last three individual batches, not cumulative numbers.
- Talk to recent graduates. Ask how long placement took, what the interviews tested and whether the curriculum prepared them.
- Search Reddit and Quora independently. Read threads from the last six months. Dissatisfied learners rarely stay silent there.
- Verify hiring-partner claims. Ask how many learners from the last batch were placed at a specific partner company. A partner list without traceable placements is just logos.
- Read the full enrolment agreement before paying.
Still unsure? The and the course explorer below can narrow it down by experience, goal, budget and weekly time.
How I'd Actually Decide
If I were starting today, I'd decide in this order:
- Credential first. Do I need a university name (IISc, IIIT-B), an industry certification, or just to learn? This alone removes half the list.
- Level second. Am I starting from zero, or do I already know ML? Beginners need a program that starts from Python. ML practitioners can go straight to a GenAI specialisation.
- 2026 coverage third. I'd rule out anything that skips LLMs, RAG, agents and deployment unless I deliberately wanted a narrow specialisation.
- Human attention fourth. How many hours of live, expert review will I get? Is there 1:1 code review?
- Proof last. I'd run the 14-point checklist and the six verification steps, and walk away from anyone who won't share batch-wise data or the enrolment agreement.
For a working professional or beginner in Bangalore who wants to switch into an AI/ML role, that process leads me to LogicMojo. For a research-leaning graduate, it leads to IISc. For someone who needs a PG Diploma, it leads to IIIT Bangalore. The right answer depends on your starting point, not on which brand is loudest.
