Top 10 Best DataCamp Alternatives in 2026 (Honest Comparison)
Fees · Curriculum · Projects · Mentorship · Certifications · Career Support
An honest, fee-by-fee comparison of the top 10 affordable alternatives to DataCamp's online data science & AI courses — ranked on fees, curriculum, projects, mentorship, certifications and career support, not on who pays the highest commission.
Written by Ravi Singh (Ex-AI Architect, Amazon & WalmartLabs · 15+ years in IT · 11 providers checked · 36 min read) · Reviewed by 5 AI/ML industry experts
DataCamp's exercises are pleasant and the streak counter is satisfying. Then the subscription renews for the third time and the portfolio is still empty. Not because DataCamp is bad — but because what it sells may not be what you now need.
What goes wrong when learners switch
• Cancelling for something cheaper — and losing the structure
• Paying for live teaching you won't attend
• Low monthly price × slow progress ≠ a low price
• Trusting listicles ranked by affiliate commission
How this guide fixes it
I checked 11 providers' fees on their official pages on 24 September 2026, scored them on 6 published, weighted pillars, and ranked the 10 alternatives by value per finished outcome. The weighting is public — re-rank it yourself.

Section 03 · A personal note
Why I bothered writing this
I remember comparing online learning platforms and wondering why some courses cost so much more than others when they seemed to promise similar outcomes. Finding affordable DataCamp alternatives quickly became confusing—every platform highlighted certificates, projects, career support, or discounts, but it was harder to understand what you were actually getting for the price.
That’s what made me look beyond the headline fee. A cheaper course is not automatically better value, and a higher-priced program does not automatically offer better learning.
For this page, I’ve focused on the things that matter when comparing DataCamp alternatives: fees, curriculum, projects, mentorship, flexibility, career support, and what you actually get for your money.
The goal is simple: help you understand the differences between these options so you can choose a course that fits your learning needs, budget, and career goals.
Section 04
Why Choosing a DataCamp Alternative Is Different in 2026
Choosing a DataCamp alternative in 2026 is no longer simply about finding a cheaper course. Learners now have more options across Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, analytics, and other technology programs, with significant differences in fees, curriculum depth, hands-on projects, mentorship, learning format, flexibility, and career support.
The real question is: what are you actually getting for the money you spend?
A lower-cost alternative may look attractive at first, but it may not provide the practical projects, structured learning, mentorship, or career support you need. On the other hand, a more expensive program may offer features that justify the additional cost—or may charge significantly more for learning resources that are available elsewhere at a lower price.
That is why this comparison looks beyond the advertised course fee. We compare leading DataCamp alternatives across total cost, curriculum, course duration, hands-on projects, mentorship, learning flexibility, career or placement support, and overall value for money.
The goal is to help you understand what each alternative actually offers at its price point, so you can compare your options clearly and choose a program that fits your budget, learning goals, career stage, and expectations before making an investment.

1,200+ active builders 500+ shipped projects 8,400+ GitHub commits
The LogicMojo AI & ML Course is the #1 pick on this page's weighting. It is a live, mentor-led 7-month programme that sells the four things a subscription structurally cannot: scheduled live teaching, a mentor who reads your code, projects built from an empty editor and reviewed by a person, and career support attached to the same fee.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. The official page lists the 7-month (≈30-week) Artificial Intelligence course, including Generative AI, at ₹87,000 inclusive of GST, with EMI advertised from ₹6,100 a month. The LogicMojo AI & ML Course team also supplied a 15% early-enrolment price of ₹73,950 for a limited period. It is a one-time fee with a fixed end date — two years of DataCamp Premium costs ₹28,678–₹43,584 and keeps renewing.
Curriculum
One sequenced route rather than a catalogue: Python and SQL foundations → mathematics and statistics → classical machine learning → deep learning → NLP and computer vision → GenAI and agentic AI.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Taught live, with debugging of your own training runs. You learn to build a validation scheme that does not leak, defend a metric, and train and tune a network — the clearest depth gap versus DataCamp's introductory deep-learning content.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
LLM fundamentals and prompting, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning and agentic AI — agent frameworks, tool protocols such as MCP and evaluation of agent behaviour sit at the end of the progression.
Format
Live online weekend batch (Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM IST) with recordings. A fixed timetable and a cohort give the accountability a self-paced subscription lacks.
Projects
Built from a blank environment on realistic data and reviewed by a mentor who tells you what a senior engineer would have done differently.
Mentorship & support
Live instructor access, doubt resolution and 1:1 mentorship are the core of the model — and the reason the fee is what it is.
Career support
Job assistance and referrals start after course completion; interview preparation and portfolio support are included rather than sold as an upsell. The placement rate advertised on the course page is LogicMojo AI & ML Course's own marketing figure and is not used in any score.
Certification
A LogicMojo AI & ML Course programme certificate attesting to a completed live, mentored programme with reviewed project work.
Eligibility & prerequisites
Open to working professionals and career switchers, including learners from non-CS backgrounds; the programme starts from Python and SQL foundations.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you want live teaching, a mentor who reviews your projects, GenAI and agentic AI taught in sequence, and career support — all in one fee that does not renew.
Stay with DataCamp if you only want a broad self-paced catalogue to browse casually, or cannot commit to fixed weekend IST live batches.
Strengths
Live, mentor-led teaching with recordings
Projects built from a blank environment and reviewed by a human
Full ML → deep learning → GenAI → agentic AI progression
Interview preparation and career support included in a one-time fee
Limitations
Higher upfront fee than two years of a subscription
Fixed weekend batch timings are less flexible than self-paced learning
Several programme details still await confirmation from the LogicMojo AI & ML Course team
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain live teaching, human review of your code, a sequenced route to GenAI and agents, and career support that ends in a finished outcome; you give up DataCamp's low monthly price and fully self-paced flexibility.
GUVI's Advanced Data Science & Generative AI Program is the accessibility answer on this list.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Verified on the programme page: ₹99,999 after a 20% discount from a ₹1,24,999 list price, with EMI from ₹11,585 a month over 12 months. GUVI runs registration-window pricing with countdown offers, so the figure you see depends on when you look; confirm GST treatment.
Machine learning and deep learning are explicit programme stages rather than optional catalogue items, and live delivery means you can ask why a model behaved the way it did while you are still confused about it.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Generative AI is named in the programme title and appears in the module structure. Confirm on the syllabus how far it goes past prompting into RAG, vector stores, fine-tuning and agents.
Format
Live online classes with weekday and weekend options over six months, in four languages, with recordings. This is a scheduled commitment, not a browse-when-free catalogue.
Projects
10+ projects and case studies listed. Verify how many are built from a blank environment versus followed along, and who reviews them — mentor review is the part that makes projects worth more than tutorials.
Mentorship & support
Expert mentors and 1:1 doubt sessions are listed programme features. Ask for the cadence and duration of 1:1 access in writing, since that is the line item you are really paying for.
Career support
Placement assistance and mock interviews are offered. GUVI's course page reports 1000+ hiring partners and 4.5M+ learners upskilled — figures with no published denominator for placement outcomes.
Certification
A GUVI programme certificate. It signals completion of a live, mentored programme; it is not a proctored industry exam and the IIT-Madras link is incubation of the company, not certification of your skills.
Eligibility & prerequisites
Open to freshers and working professionals; the programme explicitly targets career switchers. Verify any degree or coding prerequisites.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if English-language self-paced content has been slowing you down, or you want live teaching with 1:1 doubt support and can budget for a full programme fee.
Stay with DataCamp if you cannot commit to fixed batch timings for six months, or you want to learn purely at your own pace.
Strengths
Live instruction in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil
Fixed six-month duration with a real end date
1:1 doubt sessions listed as standard
Weekday and weekend batches suit working professionals
Limitations
Highest fee among the programmes compared, even after discount
Placement-assistance scope needs written clarification
Hiring-partner and learner counts are not independently verified
Fixed batches remove self-paced flexibility
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain live teaching, 1:1 doubt support and vernacular delivery; you give up the ability to learn on your own schedule. The strongest accessibility case on this list.
Intellipaat sits mid-range among the live programmes on this list and sells institutional association as a core part of the value.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Verified on the programme page: ₹55,000 in total — a ₹2,000 non-refundable registration fee plus a ₹53,000 course fee — with EMI from ₹4,416 a month. Duration is 11 months for first- and second-year students and 6 months for third- and fourth-years. Other variants are priced separately; confirm GST for the one you choose.
Curriculum
Python, SQL, statistics, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, LLM engineering and agentic AI appear across current programme descriptions, with an extended syllabus and a large project count.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Among the deeper syllabi on this list on paper, spanning classical ML through deep learning and into LLM engineering. Verify contact hours per topic — a long module list can still be thin per item.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Current descriptions name GenAI, LLM engineering and agentic AI explicitly, which puts it ahead of every self-paced platform here on stated coverage. Confirm the practical component: are you building RAG systems and agents, or watching them built?
Format
Live online classes with faculty and industry instructors, plus classroom options in some cities. Scheduled, cohort-based, with recordings.
Projects
50+ projects and case studies is the headline. Volume that high always warrants a question about depth — ask which are capstones, which are built from scratch, and which are reviewed individually.
Mentorship & support
Live classes plus mentor support, with 1:1 mentorship advertised on some variants. Confirm the number of 1:1 sessions included for your specific programme.
Career support
Placement support for 18 months from programme start is the distinguishing offer. The 40,000+ students and 3,100+ hiring-company figures on the page are not independently verified.
Certification
IIT-associated certification. iHUB DivyaSampark is a technology innovation hub set up by the Department of Science & Technology and IIT Roorkee. Read the wording precisely: association with an IIT innovation hub is meaningful, and it is not the same as an IIT degree or an IIT department certification. Both facts can be true at once.
Choose this over DataCamp if an institutionally associated credential plus a long placement-support window matters to you, at a mid-range programme fee.
Stay with DataCamp if you are cost-sensitive and self-directed — the gap between this fee and a DataCamp subscription is large and only pays back if you use the live and career components fully.
Strengths
Broadest stated syllabus, through to agentic AI and LLM engineering
Live teaching with IIT-affiliated and industry instructors
18-month placement-support window is unusually long
50+ projects and case studies
Limitations
This variant is aimed partly at current undergraduates — check it fits a working professional
Institutional association is easy to misread as an IIT degree
Fees not transparently published per variant
Placement claims have no published denominators
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain live teaching, syllabus breadth and a long career-support window; you give up a great deal of money relative to a subscription and must read the credential wording carefully. Right for learners who will use every included service.
PW Skills sits at the bottom of the Indian programme price range while still offering a defined syllabus, batch structure and a Data Science with Generative AI programme.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Verified on the course page: three plans for the 8-month programme — Basic at ₹6,999 (self-paced recorded lectures), Premium at ₹34,999 (adds weekend live sessions) and Pro at ₹39,999 (adds job assistance). The page notes discounts during specific offers; confirm GST and EMI terms at checkout.
Curriculum
Python and statistics foundations, SQL, data analysis, machine learning and a generative-AI block that the programme name makes central. Confirm the current module list and hour counts on the syllabus page.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Covers classical ML through applied project work. Verify how many hours go to deep learning specifically — at this price point that is usually where the compression happens.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Generative AI is explicitly part of the programme identity, which is more than several global self-paced platforms can say. Confirm whether coverage reaches RAG, agent frameworks and evaluation, or stops at prompting and API use.
Format
Blended: Basic is recorded lectures only, while Premium and Pro add weekend live sessions. Delivery is in Hinglish. The plan you choose decides how much live teaching you get, which is the single biggest determinant of value at this price.
Projects
Real-world projects plus dedicated ML and Generative AI capstones are listed, without a published count. Verify the count, whether projects are built from scratch and — most importantly — whether a human reviews your submission or only a rubric does.
Mentorship & support
Community-led doubt resolution is the core model. Ask directly whether any 1:1 time is included, how quickly doubts are answered, and whether that support continues once the cohort ends.
Career support
Job assistance is Pro-only. The course page states that Basic and Premium include no job assistance, and that on Pro, five job opportunities are shared with eligible learners who clear an employability test — an opportunity feed, not a placement manager working your candidature.
Certification
PW Skills programme completion certificate. It signals structured completion; it is not a proctored assessment and carries no university branding.
Eligibility & prerequisites
Open to beginners and students; some tracks target final-year students and early-career professionals. Verify prerequisites for the GenAI programme.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you want a GenAI-inclusive syllabus at budget prices — ₹6,999 recorded-only, or ₹34,999 with weekend live classes.
Stay with DataCamp if you want to study entirely on your own clock in English with no scheduled commitments at all.
Strengths
Lowest paid-programme entry point on this list
Generative AI built into the core programme, not an add-on
Hinglish delivery lowers the language barrier
Cohort framing creates deadlines a subscription never will
Limitations
Support is community-first rather than mentor-first
Live-hour volume is limited by the price point
Job assistance only on the top Pro plan, and limited to shared openings
Project review depth is unclear without asking
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain structure, deadlines and GenAI coverage for a fraction of full programme fees; you give up the individual attention that higher-fee programmes fund. Excellent value if you verify the live and review components before paying.
Dataquest is the closest like-for-like swap on this list. It is a browser-based, subscription-priced, self-paced platform aimed at the same learner DataCamp aims at — but it made a different pedagogical bet.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. The plans page lists a free-forever tier, a Premium plan billed monthly or annually (cancel any time) and a Team plan, with a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Dataquest's help centre gives Premium as $49 a month or $399 a year — about ₹4,700 or ₹38,300 at ≈₹96 per dollar. Lifetime Premium is sold through periodic promotions; check whether one is running rather than relying on a past discount.
Curriculum
The catalogue lists 8 career paths and 26 skill paths (R and SQL sit mainly in skill paths), covering Python and R fundamentals, SQL and databases, data cleaning and analysis, probability and statistics, data visualisation, machine learning, and data-engineering foundations.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Applied machine learning is genuinely well taught — model workflow, validation, feature work and evaluation are treated as engineering problems rather than as API tours.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
GenAI and agentic AI are the clearest gap relative to mentor-led Indian programmes and relative to Coursera's publisher breadth.
Format
Fully self-paced, fully browser-based. No fixed batches, no timetable, no IST scheduling question — you can study at 6am or after a 10pm shift. There is no live class and no cohort, so accountability is entirely your own.
Projects
Guided projects are the platform's identity. They hand you a real dataset and a set of objectives, and much of the code is yours to write.
Mentorship & support
Community forums and support. There is no scheduled mentor, no 1:1 session and no code review. If your blocker is that nobody has ever read your code, Dataquest does not solve it — it just gives you more code worth reading.
Career support
Career-path certificates and career resources.
Certification
Completion-based path certificates. No proctored exam, no separate fee. What they signal to a recruiter is 'this person completed a structured curriculum' — useful as supporting evidence next to a portfolio, not as a credential in its own right.
Eligibility & prerequisites
None. Absolute beginners are the target; a working laptop and a browser is the full prerequisite list.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you liked DataCamp's format but want a higher project-to-lesson ratio and a text-first style that forces you to type rather than watch.
Stay with DataCamp if you rely on video explanation to absorb new concepts, or you want DataCamp's much broader catalogue of BI tools, R content and specialised topics.
Strengths
Highest project density of any self-paced platform here
Text-first format breaks the watch-then-mimic habit early
Disciplined path sequencing with real prerequisites
Free tier is usable, not a two-lesson teaser
Limitations
No human feedback, code review or mentorship at any tier
Deep learning and GenAI coverage lag behind mentor-led programmes
Narrower catalogue than DataCamp — fewer tools, fewer languages
Outcome statistics are self-reported with no visible denominator
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain project rigour and a format that exposes gaps sooner; you give up DataCamp's catalogue breadth and BI-tool coverage.
365 Data Science is the tightest curriculum on the self-paced side of this list.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Verified on the pricing page shown to Indian visitors: a genuinely usable Free plan; Self-study at ₹630.88 a month billed annually, advertised as 65% off a ₹1,823.67 regular monthly price, with a 30-day money-back guarantee; and a pay-once Lifetime plan, priced on request, that explicitly carries no automatic renewal.
Curriculum
133 courses and 12 career tracks spanning Excel and SQL foundations, Python, probability and statistics, regression, classical machine learning, deep learning, business intelligence and a set of AI-oriented courses, with practice exams and a customised learning path on paid tiers.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Statistics and classical ML are the strongest part of the catalogue and are taught with unusual care about the mathematics underneath. Deep learning exists but is compact rather than specialist.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
AI content is present and expanding; full agentic-AI engineering — frameworks, MCP, evaluation harnesses — is not what this platform is built for. Verify the live catalogue on your check date.
Format
Self-paced video lessons with exercises, quizzes and practice exams, plus a customised learning path on paid tiers. No live sessions, no cohort and no fixed timetable — but the bounded catalogue gives the progression a visible finish line.
Projects
51 projects listed across the catalogue, plus practice exams. Portfolio feedback and AI mock interviews appear as plan features, which is more support than most self-paced platforms offer, though still not practitioner code review.
Mentorship & support
No scheduled 1:1 mentor. Dedicated community channels and priority support on paid tiers; portfolio feedback is listed but verify who delivers it and how deep it goes.
Career support
Career resources, AI mock interviews and a Job Insider newsletter. There is no placement process and no employer-facing service. The pricing page also advertises that 9 in 10 graduates landed new jobs and a $29,000 average salary increase — figures with no published method or denominator, not verified here and not used in the score.
Certification
Accredited certificates — specifically, certificates carry CPE credits through NASBA's National Registry of CPE Sponsors, and 365 lists recognition from several professional bodies. 365 itself describes these as professional accreditations, not a university degree, which is the right way to read them in a hiring conversation.
Choose this over DataCamp if you want one finishable data-science curriculum with strong statistics, and a pay-once option that ends the subscription question.
Stay with DataCamp if you need breadth across many tools and languages, or you want DataCamp's specific certification track.
Strengths
Bounded, finishable curriculum with clear career tracks
Unusually strong statistics and maths grounding
Lifetime plan removes auto-renewal risk entirely
30-day money-back guarantee stated on the pricing page
Limitations
No live teaching or 1:1 mentorship
Deep learning and agentic AI are compact rather than deep
'Accredited' means CPE credits, not an academic qualification
List monthly price is not cheap without the annual saving
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain focus, statistical depth and an exit from the subscription treadmill; you give up catalogue breadth and any human accountability. The best pure-self-paced value here if you finish it.
Coursera Plus is not a platform in DataCamp's sense — it is a subscription key to other institutions' content.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Coursera Plus showed ₹2,099 a month in India, with the annual plan advertised as saving 40% and a 7-day free trial on monthly billing. Annual payments carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. The page states that degrees, MasterTrack certificates and certain courses, specialisations and professional certificates are excluded from Plus.
Curriculum
Breadth is the point: Python and SQL foundations, the 9-course Google Data Analytics and 12-course IBM Data Science professional certificates, data engineering, statistics and ML specialisations, and a large GenAI shelf from multiple publishers.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Depth here is entirely a function of your choices. The well-known ML and deep-learning specialisations are among the best structured teaching available online; a random certificate in the same catalogue may be far shallower.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Large and growing, spanning prompting, LLM application development and agent-oriented courses from several publishers. Inclusion in Plus varies by title — some content sits outside the subscription entirely, so verify before you count on it.
Format
Self-paced video with quizzes, autograded labs and peer-graded assignments. Course pages quote suggested weekly hours and deadlines that mostly reset if you miss them, which is flexible but weak on accountability.
Projects
Guided labs and capstones, graded by autograders or by fellow learners. Peer grading is the honest weak point: your reviewer is another beginner, and the feedback reflects that.
Mentorship & support
None. Discussion forums are the only human channel, and response quality depends on whoever happens to be in the thread. Nobody is accountable for your progress.
Career support
Certificate-linked career resources and employer-network claims, as described by the provider. There is no individual placement process, no mock-interview panel and no portfolio review by a practitioner.
Certification
The strongest credential recognition on this list. Course certificates and specialisation certificates carry the issuing university's or company's name and are shareable and verifiable.
Eligibility & prerequisites
Open to anyone. Beginner certificates explicitly assume no prior coding experience.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if your main constraint is credential recognition, or you want a specific specialisation from a named university or company.
Stay with DataCamp if you want the tight loop of practising code in a hosted console with immediate feedback — DataCamp is better at that specific mechanic.
Strengths
Best-recognised credentials of any option here
Enormous breadth, including several genuinely excellent ML specialisations
INR regional pricing keeps the subscription realistic in India
Certificates are shareable and independently verifiable
Limitations
No mentorship, no code review, no live teaching
Peer grading is unreliable feedback
Course quality varies sharply between publishers
Some desirable content sits outside the Plus subscription
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain brand recognition and specialisation depth; you give up interactive practice quality and gain no human feedback. Best used as a credential layer on top of practice you get elsewhere.
Kaggle Learn is the honest zero on the cost axis, and this page would be dishonest without it.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Free. No subscription, no tiers, no auto-renewal, no GST question, no refund policy to read. The cost is entirely your time and the absence of anyone making you show up.
Curriculum
Python, pandas, data visualisation, intro and intermediate ML, feature engineering, data cleaning, SQL, time series, computer vision and explainability, as compact micro-courses rather than a progressive career track.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Practically excellent for applied modelling. The competition ecosystem teaches validation discipline, leakage awareness and feature work better than most paid curricula, because the leaderboard punishes self-deception immediately.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Weakest area, though not empty: Kaggle hosts Google's self-paced 5-Day Gen AI Intensive learning guide, covering LLM foundations, embeddings, RAG and agents. It is a short intensive, not a sequenced curriculum comparable with a mentor-led syllabus, and community notebooks beyond it are unvetted.
Format
Entirely self-directed. Notebooks with free compute — Kaggle's docs describe a weekly GPU quota of around 30 hours and up to 20 hours of TPU time a week. No schedule, no cohort, no pressure of any kind.
Projects
Effectively unlimited — public datasets, competitions and notebooks. This is the largest supply of genuinely unguided project work available anywhere at any price.
Mentorship & support
None. Discussion threads and other people's notebooks are your only teachers, which is a real form of learning but not feedback on your work.
Career support
None whatsoever, and Kaggle makes no claim otherwise. A strong public Kaggle profile can function as portfolio evidence, which is a different thing from career support.
Certification
Completion certificates for micro-courses. Realistically they carry little standalone hiring weight; the notebooks and competition record are the credential.
Eligibility & prerequisites
A Google account and basic Python. Nothing else.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you want to stop paying anything, you already have discipline, and your gap is practice rather than explanation.
Stay with DataCamp if you need a defined progression and someone else's structure to keep you moving — Kaggle gives you neither.
Strengths
Free with no strings, forever
Real datasets and real ambiguity from day one
Free GPU and notebook compute
Competition feedback loop is brutally honest about model quality
Limitations
No structure, sequencing or accountability
GenAI limited to a short intensive guide, not a curriculum
No mentorship, review or career support
Certificates carry negligible hiring weight
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain unlimited real practice at zero cost; you give up structure, explanation and any human in the loop. Everyone on this list should use it — very few should use only it.
Codecademy Pro is the most familiar-feeling switch for a DataCamp user: an in-browser editor, small steps, immediate validation.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Verified on the pricing page shown to Indian visitors: Basic is free; Plus is ₹300 a month billed annually or ₹600 billed monthly; Pro is ₹600 a month billed annually or ₹1,200 billed monthly. Career paths and professional certifications need Pro. The complimentary workshop belongs to a separate, dollar-priced All Access tier, not Plus or Pro. Codecademy's help centre states that subscriptions are not refunded.
Curriculum
The Data Scientist: Machine Learning Specialist (about 95 hours) and Data Scientist: Analytics Specialist (about 70 hours) career paths cover Python, SQL, pandas, statistics, visualisation and machine learning, alongside a wider catalogue of web, CS-fundamentals and tooling content.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Introductory to intermediate. You will meet scikit-learn, train models and evaluate them, but this is not where you go to develop modelling judgement or deep-learning fluency.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
AI-assisted learning features are built into the product and AI courses exist in the catalogue. Structured agentic-AI content — RAG pipelines, agent frameworks, evaluation — is not the platform's strength; verify against the live catalogue.
Format
Self-paced, browser-based, heavily interactive, with quizzes and practice packs. Tier differences matter: Plus includes skill paths and portfolio projects; Pro adds career paths, certifications and interview prep, so read the comparison before choosing.
Projects
Portfolio projects inside Pro paths, plus practice sets. They are more open-ended than DataCamp's guided projects but still come with substantial structure, and nothing is reviewed by a person.
Mentorship & support
No 1:1 mentor. Forums and in-product AI help. Workshops (All Access tier only) are group events, not personal feedback.
Career support
Pro includes technical interview prep and portfolio tooling. It is self-service tooling, not a placement programme with a human owner.
Certification
Professional certification on Pro career paths, earned by passing all of the path's exams rather than a single proctored test. It needs an active Pro subscription.
Eligibility & prerequisites
None. Complete beginners are the core audience.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you want data skills embedded in real software practice — git, terminal, APIs — rather than notebooks alone.
Stay with DataCamp if your priority is statistics, R, BI tooling or certification aimed squarely at data roles; DataCamp's data catalogue is deeper.
Strengths
Transparent ₹ pricing — Plus is the cheapest paid plan on this page
Excellent in-browser editor experience
Software-engineering context most data platforms skip
Portfolio projects are more open-ended than typical guided exercises
Limitations
Shallow machine-learning and deep-learning depth
Confusing Plus vs Pro feature split
No human code review or mentorship
Career tooling is self-service only
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain engineering context and a strong editor; you give up data-specific depth and certification aimed at data roles. A reasonable lateral move, not an upgrade in modelling ability.
Udemy is a marketplace, not a school, and treating it as a DataCamp replacement misreads what it is for. You buy individual courses outright, keep them for life, and inherit whatever standard the individual instructor set.
Fees & billing
Verified Checked 24 September 2026 on the official page. Courses carry high list prices and are very frequently discounted to a small fraction of them — sale cycles run more or less continuously, so never pay list, and never trust a quoted price in an article, including this one. Individual courses carry a 30-day refund window; the Personal Plan subscription is excluded.
Curriculum
Whatever you assemble. Individual courses cover Python, pandas, SQL, machine learning, deep learning, Power BI, Tableau and a very large GenAI shelf, with no progression between purchases.
Machine learning & deep learning depth
Entirely instructor-dependent, with no floor and a high ceiling. Read the curriculum tab, the last-updated date and recent reviews before buying — ratings alone are unreliable because they include people who never finished.
GenAI & agentic AI coverage
Abundant and fast-moving, which cuts both ways: new topics appear on Udemy before structured programmes ship them, and quality control is entirely yours to perform.
Format
Pre-recorded video with downloadable resources. You set up your own local environment, which is a genuinely useful skill DataCamp's browser sandbox never makes you learn.
Projects
Follow-along projects. Nobody reviews anything, nobody knows whether you finished, and the completion certificate is issued regardless of how much you retained.
Mentorship & support
Course Q&A sections, answered at the instructor's discretion and sometimes not at all. There is no support commitment of any kind.
Career support
None, and none claimed. This is honest positioning rather than a shortcoming, provided you do not expect otherwise.
Certification
A Udemy completion certificate with no assessment behind it, available on paid courses only; Personal Plan certificates are lost if the subscription lapses. Treat it as a receipt, not a credential.
Eligibility & prerequisites
None.
Best suited for
Choose this over DataCamp if you know exactly which single skill you are missing and want it once, permanently, for very little money.
Stay with DataCamp if you need a coherent progression and any form of accountability — DataCamp's structured tracks beat a pile of purchased videos.
Strengths
Lowest cost per hour of content when bought on sale
Lifetime access with no renewal risk
Some individual courses are genuinely excellent and comprehensive
Fastest coverage of brand-new tools and GenAI topics
Limitations
No structure, sequencing or accountability
Wildly variable quality and frequent staleness
No mentorship, code review or career support
Certificates are meaningless to recruiters
Verdict vs. DataCamp
You gain cheap, permanent, targeted content; you give up structure, feedback and any assurance of quality. Best used alongside something structured, not instead of it.
Why LogicMojo AI & ML Course Ranks #1 Among Affordable DataCamp Alternatives — Detailed Review
LogicMojo AI & ML Course ranks first on this page's stated weighting, where value per finished outcome, project rigour, mentorship and career support together carry 75% of the score. That is the claim, and it is bounded: under a different weighting a different provider wins. If sticker price dominates, Kaggle Learn or PW Skills takes the top spot. If flexibility dominates, Dataquest or DataCamp itself does. If credential recognition dominates, Coursera Plus does (see LogicMojo AI & ML Course vs Coursera vs Udacity vs edX). Those are honest outcomes of honest weightings.
LogicMojo AI & ML Course wins on this weighting because it sells the four things a subscription structurally cannot: scheduled live teaching, a mentor who reads your code, projects built from an empty editor and reviewed by a person, and career support attached to the same fee.
Scheduled live teaching
A mentor who reads your code
Projects from an empty editor, reviewed
Career support in the same fee
Value for money — what the fee buys that a subscription does not
Verified The official LogicMojo AI & ML Course page lists the 7-month (≈30-week) Artificial Intelligence course, including Generative AI, at ₹87,000 inclusive of GST, with EMI advertised from ₹6,100 a month. The LogicMojo AI & ML Course team also supplied a 15% early-enrolment price of ₹73,950, which did not appear on the public page on 24 September 2026; confirm the live figure and offer validity before enrolling.
Put the list fee beside the benchmark honestly. Two years of DataCamp Premium on monthly billing is ₹43,584, and on the regular annual plan ₹28,678 — so LogicMojo AI & ML Course costs roughly two to three times as much as two years of the subscription. The case for paying the difference is not price; it is what the money buys. The subscription buys 24 months of recorded content and no human hours; the programme fee buys live classes, mentor time, reviewed projects and interview preparation, and it stops.
If you've renewed DataCamp three times
Add what you have already spent to what the next twelve months would cost. If that total is heading towards a one-time mentor-led fee and you still cannot start a project from a blank notebook, price was never the issue — human feedback was.
Curriculum — module progression and what you can do after each stage
The published progression runs from foundations to deployment, and each stage is best judged by capability rather than topic name:
1
Python and SQL foundations— you can load, join, clean and aggregate a messy multi-table dataset without a template, with a mentor reading your code.
2
Mathematics and statistics— you can state an assumption a model relies on, test it, and say what breaks when it fails.
3
Classical machine learning— you can frame a business question as a modelling problem, build a validation scheme that does not leak, and defend a metric.
4
Deep learning— you can train, debug and tune a network and explain why it underfits. This is the clearest depth gap versus DataCamp's introductory content.
5
NLP and computer vision— you can build an applied pipeline on text or image data end to end rather than following a notebook.
GenAI and agentic AI coverage
The syllabus covers LLM fundamentals and prompting, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation — giving a model your own documents to answer from), vector databases that make that retrieval fast, fine-tuning, and agentic AI — systems where a model plans, calls tools and acts across multiple steps rather than answering once. Agent frameworks, tool protocols such as MCP, and evaluation of agent behaviour sit at the end of that progression. DataCamp advertises AI programmes in its catalogue; how far those reach into RAG engineering and agents is worth confirming with DataCamp before you pay.
Projects — the blank-environment difference
The format is the substance of the claim: projects are built from an empty environment on realistic data (browse our AI project ideas) and reviewed by a human who tells you what a senior engineer would have done differently. DataCamp's guided projects and DataLab notebooks are good practice but a different exercise — the path is laid out and nothing you write is read by anyone.
Live learning and mentorship
The current listing is a weekend batch, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM IST, with the next batch starting in the coming month. Live IST batches with recordings are the core of the model, and the reason the fee is what it is. Comparing this fee with a subscription is comparing a product that includes people with one that does not.
Interview preparation and career support
The LogicMojo AI & ML Course page is published with job assistance in its title, and states that job assistance and referrals start after course completion. Interview preparation and portfolio support are part of the programme rather than an upsell. The same page advertises a placement rate and industry-partner count; those are LogicMojo AI & ML Course's own marketing figures with no published denominator or independent audit, so they are not repeated here or used in any score. India's Central Consumer Protection Authority has issued guidelines against misleading coaching-sector advertising, including exaggerated success rates and job-security promises — apply the same scepticism to every provider on this page, including this one.
Certification
A LogicMojo AI & ML Course programme certificate signals that you completed a live, mentored programme with reviewed project work. A DataCamp certification signals that you passed timed and practical exams. Different instruments: one attests to supervised work, the other to an assessment event. Editorial observation Both are secondary to what you can open and explain.

Who LogicMojo AI & ML Course is best matched to
Learners who want a live, mentor-led progression from Python and SQL through ML, deep learning, GenAI and agentic AI, taught in sequence rather than assembled from a catalogue.
Working professionals who can commit to fixed IST live batches and want the accountability of a timetable and a cohort.
Career switchers from non-CS backgrounds who need human onboarding and projects someone reviews before a recruiter sees them.
A learner whose goal is a broad self-paced catalogue for casual browsing, or a university-branded credential specifically, will find that need well covered by other entries on this list — that is a difference in what you are shopping for, not a comment on the programme.

Section 07
Is DataCamp Worth the Money in 2026? Pricing, Plans, Curriculum and What You Actually Get
Before anything gets compared to DataCamp, DataCamp needs describing accurately. Everything below was read off DataCamp's own pages on 24 September 2026; anything I could not confirm is flagged in the text rather than filled in from memory.
Verified The DataCamp pricing page lists a free Basic tier, a Premium plan for individuals, and business plans (Teams and Enterprise). Premium advertises access to 790+ courses, projects, certificates and industry certifications, and top programmes in AI, Python, SQL, Power BI and R. Basic gives you every course's first chapter free and a professional profile, without certificates. (The catalogue page itself counted 776 courses on the check date — close to, but slightly below, the advertised figure.)
The catalogue is organised into skill tracks (a cluster of courses around one capability, say data manipulation in Python) and career tracks (a longer sequence aimed at a job title, much like a data science roadmap) — see the list of DataCamp career tracks. DataLab is DataCamp's hosted notebook — a browser environment with an AI assistant where you write real code against datasets rather than completing gapped exercises; the free tier is capped, and Premium removes the caps.
How much does DataCamp cost in 2026?

Advertised on Premium
Verified DataCamp shows Indian visitors its own rupee prices. On the official pricing page, the default annual view listed Premium at ₹598 per month billed annually — a "Special Price" that halves the regular ₹1,195 per month (₹14,339 a year). The student pricing page shows the same regular annual figure and the monthly-billing price of ₹1,816 per month. Promotions run periodically, and DataCamp's promotions FAQ covers how they apply. Check whether the 50% promotion is running when you read this, and whether a promotional rate carries over at renewal.
Verified The pricing page's currency selector includes ₹ INR alongside USD, GBP, EUR and others, so the price you see depends on your region — check it from your own connection at sign-up. Verified Student discounts exist: the DataCamp student plan is open to students at degree-granting universities, colleges and schools (see also our AI courses for college students), and showed 50% off the annual plan (₹7,169 a year) or 30% off monthly billing (₹1,271 a month) on the check date.
Verified Refunds are limited. DataCamp's support article on refunds after a renewal says it does not refund or prorate unused time, and asks you to contact support if a renewal was charged within the last two weeks. You can cancel a DataCamp subscription at any time and keep access until the paid period ends — so set a reminder before the renewal date. The pricing page lists course credits as included in Premium; confirm what they cover and whether they expire.

Official Indian prices from DataCamp's pricing page and student pricing page, checked 24 September 2026, before any GST. Annual plans are charged up front, so the 6- and 18-month rows already include a full year. The promo column assumes the 50% offer is available again at renewal, which is not guaranteed.
Read the bottom row twice. Two years on the monthly plan is about ₹43,600 — roughly half of a one-time mentor-led programme fee such as LogicMojo AI & ML Course (₹87,000), and more than a structured budget programme like PW Skills' Premium plan. Two years on the annual plan is ₹28,678 at the regular rate, or about ₹14,300 if you catch the promotion both years, which is genuinely cheap. Which row you land on depends entirely on whether you commit annually and actually use it.
How long does it take to finish a DataCamp career track?
Verified Each track publishes its own estimated hours on its page — the Data Scientist in Python career track, for example, quoted around 26 hours across nine courses on the check date. Read the number for the track you want rather than an average. Editorial observation As an illustration only: a track quoted at 80 hours takes about four months at five hours a week, or two months at ten. Now apply your honest completion rate. Most people studying after a full workday manage three to five hours in a good week and zero in a bad one, which is how a four-month track becomes a nine-month subscription.
Curriculum — what DataCamp covers well and where it is introductory
Credit where it is due. Python, R and SQL fundamentals are excellent, and the SQL teaching in particular is among the best structured anywhere. Data manipulation with pandas, visualisation, spreadsheet work, statistics and BI tools including Power BI and Tableau are all well covered, and the catalogue extends into warehouse-era tooling.
Editorial observationClassical machine learning is competently taught at a working level. Deep learning, NLP and computer vision read as introductions — enough to understand the vocabulary, not enough to debug a training run that silently underfits. GenAI and AI-agent content exists in the catalogue and the pricing page advertises top AI programmes; how far that goes into RAG pipelines, vector databases, fine-tuning, agent frameworks and evaluation, and whether any of it is priced outside Premium, is worth confirming before you subscribe.
Format, exercises and projects
The core loop is a short video followed by browser exercises where you complete prewritten code. It is well designed and it works for what it is: building recall of syntax and idioms without environment setup getting in the way. DataLab moves you closer to real work, and guided projects sit between the two.
Editorial observation
What transfers: syntax fluency, pandas idioms, SQL confidence, comfort with a console. What does not: deciding what to do with an unfamiliar dataset, structuring a project directory, debugging an environment, defending a modelling choice to someone senior. Both lists are real. The mistake is assuming the first list produces the second one on its own.
Mentorship and support
Verified There is no 1:1 mentor, no live class and no human code review inside a Premium subscription. Support comes from documentation, community channels and an in-product AI assistant. That is not a hidden flaw — it is the design that makes a ₹598 to ₹1,816 monthly price possible. Human time is the most expensive thing in education, and a subscription at that price cannot include it.
DataCamp certifications — what the exams involve
Verified DataCamp runs career certifications including Data Scientist Associate. Its Data Scientist Associate support documentation states the certification is awarded to candidates who complete two timed exams (DS101 and DS102) and one practical exam, where DS101 is a two-hour exam taken in either R or Python covering exploratory analysis and statistics, with most candidates finishing in about 45 minutes. Other certifications exist for analyst and engineering roles. Verified The certification page states that certification is included with a Premium subscription at no extra cost. Check the current retake waiting periods and how long a certification stays valid.
DataCamp states that its certification validates your ability to collect, manipulate and analyse data and positions it as career progression. No independent study establishes how much weight Indian recruiters give it, and I am not going to invent one. If a credential is the goal, compare it with the top AI certification courses first.
Career support
DataCamp's career services page links resume reviews and interview preparation to its certification programme. Eligibility rules and outcome data were not published on the check date. What is clearly absent is the thing mentor-led programmes sell: a named person responsible for getting you interview-ready.

Why do learners look for DataCamp alternatives?
These are reasons, not flaws. Each one is a mismatch between a product and a goal. The depth question has become sharper because employer demand has moved: the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 ranks AI and big data as the fastest-growing skills, and lists AI and machine-learning specialists among the fastest-growing jobs.
The tutorial plateauComfortable in exercises, frozen at a blank notebook — the fix is building a model end to end.
Cumulative costEighteen months of renewals with nothing shippable to show.
No human feedbackNo code review, no mentor, no one to ask the question you cannot phrase.
Certification questionsUnsure whether the exam effort converts into recruiter attention.
No structured career supportNo mock interviews, no portfolio review, no referrals.
Wanting a cohortDeadlines and classmates beat willpower for most people.
Wanting a free pathSometimes the right answer is to stop paying and learn AI from scratch for free.
Who should stay with DataCamp
If you are genuinely self-directed, if you need SQL and Python fluency quickly, if you want the widest low-cost catalogue in the category, if you are buying for a team, or if your schedule cannot survive fixed class timings — DataCamp is a good product at a fair price and switching would cost you something real. Several readers of this page should finish reading it and renew.
Section 08
What to Look for in a DataCamp Alternative (Affordable Isn't the Cheapest)
Affordable means the lowest total cost per capability you actually finish with, not the lowest monthly price. This distinction is the whole page. A ₹598-a-month annual plan is cheap only if the twelve months you pay for produce something you can show someone.
Call it the subscription trap: a low recurring fee multiplied by slow self-paced progress routinely exceeds a one-time programme fee, and it does so invisibly, in amounts too small to trigger a decision. Nobody cancels over ₹1,816. Twenty months later that is more than ₹36,000 and an empty GitHub profile — no AI projects, no data science projects.

Two of those lines deserve a source. On GST, commercial training and coaching in India has been taxed at the standard 18% rate (see the GST Council's flyer on GST for education services), and pre-recorded online courses sold to Indian consumers from abroad are taxed as "online information and database access or retrieval" (OIDAR) services, per the GST Council's OIDAR services flyer. Confirm the rate on your invoice, since rates are revised from time to time. On no-cost EMI, the Reserve Bank of India's 2013 circular on zero per cent EMI schemes warned that the interest element is often passed on as a processing fee or folded into the product price — which is why the total repayable is the only number worth comparing.
Expected cost: divide the fee by your honest chance of finishing
Editorial observation The numbers below are illustrative arithmetic, not provider data. Suppose a subscription costs ₹15,000 a year and your realistic probability of finishing a track without deadlines is 30%. Your expected cost per completed track is ₹50,000. Now suppose a cohort programme costs ₹87,000 and, because it has fixed classes, a mentor and submission deadlines, your probability of finishing is 80%. Expected cost per completion: about ₹1,08,750 — roughly double, but for a substantially different output that includes reviewed projects and interview preparation.

Chance of finishing30%
Expected cost per completion₹50,000
Cohort programme · illustrative
Fee₹87,000 one-time
Chance of finishing80%
Expected cost per completion₹1,08,750
Change the completion probabilities and the answer flips. That is the point. For calibration, the best-known evidence on self-directed online learning is sobering: a six-year analysis of MIT and Harvard open online courses published in Science, "The MOOC pivot" (Reich & Ruipérez-Valiente, 2019), found completion rates stayed low and did not improve over time. That research covers free MOOCs rather than paid subscriptions, so treat it as a warning, not a DataCamp statistic. Estimate your own honestly — look at what you finished last year, not what you intend to finish this year — and the choice mostly makes itself.
What not to give up when you leave DataCamp
Keep: structured progression, daily hands-on coding, real datasets, a low-friction environment. Buy what DataCamp doesn't sell: human code review, a mentor who knows your name, blank-notebook projects with a rubric, interview preparation, and career support with itemised terms. If an alternative gives you neither list, it is not an upgrade — it is a sideways move with a new logo.

Affordable DataCamp Alternatives Ranked by Fees, Value and Outcomes
Every provider below was checked on 24 September 2026 to confirm it currently runs an active, enrolling programme or plan a DataCamp learner would reasonably consider a substitute in data science, data analysis, data engineering or AI/ML. All ten qualified, so no reserve entries were needed. Order follows the stated weighting; the one adjustment worth naming is that 365 Data Science sits above Kaggle Learn despite costing more, because the weighting rewards structure and career resources rather than price alone.

How to read this table
Do not compare a monthly figure with a programme fee — they are different units. Convert both to the same horizon (our data science course fees guide walks through the same arithmetic). Pick the number of months you honestly expect to need, multiply the subscription by it, and put that beside the one-time fee. Then ask what each side includes at that total: one column buys content, the other buys content plus human time. The 24-month column matters more than the monthly price because that is the horizon on which most part-time learners actually change careers.
Section 12
Curriculum Comparison — DataCamp vs. the Alternatives
Vocabulary: Deep means a substantial, sequenced treatment. Good means solid working coverage. Basic means an introduction. Not listed means it was absent from the public syllabus or catalogue on 24 September 2026 — that is not proof it isn't taught, only that it isn't advertised. For Udemy, coverage is per-course and so marked Varies.
LegendDeepGoodBasicNot listedVaries
Table 4 — curriculum coverageScroll sideways for all columns →
Primary pick: LogicMojo AI & ML Course if you want structure and a mentor from day one, so that early misconceptions get corrected before they harden. Runner-up: 365 Data Science for a bounded self-paced curriculum that starts below Python. DataCamp is still the better call if you are exploring whether you like this field at all — spend three months on the free tier and a cheap annual plan before committing serious money to anything.
Working professionals moving into data science or AI/ML
Primary pick: LogicMojo AI & ML Course — live IST batches with recordings, mentor review and career support fit the constraint that actually binds here, which is not money but attention after 9pm. Runner-up: GUVI for weekend live batches in four languages, at a full programme fee. DataCamp is still the better call if your travel schedule makes any fixed timetable unrealistic — an asynchronous subscription you use is worth more than live classes you miss.
Career switchers from non-CS backgrounds
Primary pick: LogicMojo AI & ML Course, because human onboarding is the whole problem. A switcher's blocker is rarely syntax; it is not knowing which of five plausible approaches a practitioner would choose, and only a practitioner can tell you. Runner-up: Intellipaat if an institutionally associated credential helps you explain the jump on paper. DataCamp is still the better call as a prerequisite step — build Python and SQL fluency there first, cheaply, then buy mentorship for the hard part. If you are returning to work, see AI courses after a career gap.
Budget-first learners and those wanting a free path
Primary pick: Kaggle Learn, free and genuinely good. Runner-up: PW Skills, whose recorded Basic plan starts at ₹6,999 and whose Premium plan adds weekend live classes for ₹34,999. And LogicMojo AI & ML Course remains an option if you can plan for a one-time fee — at ₹87,000 it costs about twice a two-year monthly DataCamp subscription (₹43,584), so the real question is whether live teaching and review are worth the difference to you, and whether EMI makes the timing work. DataCamp is still the better call on its discounted annual plan if you want paid structure for the least money and you learn well alone.

Curriculum depth — Python/SQL through ML, deep learning, GenAI & agentic AI20%
Projects & practical rigour (blank-notebook projects, real datasets, human review)20%
Live learning & mentorship (human feedback, doubt resolution, 1:1 access)15%
Career support & job-readiness (interview prep, portfolio, job assistance)15%
Flexibility & accessibility (self-paced vs. fixed batches, eligibility, onboarding)5%
How each pillar was scored
Each pillar is scored out of 10 from verified facts only. Where a fact could not be confirmed, the pillar is marked insufficient data rather than guessed, and an unverifiable claim never earns points. Scores are then weighted and summed.
Labels, dates and currency
Verified confirmed on the provider's own page on the check date. Editorial observation my judgement, separated from fact.
Every fact carries the 24 September 2026 check date; anything unconfirmed is flagged in the text.
All prices are shown in ₹. Where a provider shows Indian visitors a ₹ price, that price is quoted as displayed. Prices listed only in dollars are converted at ≈₹96 per dollar, in line with the RBI/FBIL USD–INR reference rate in September 2026 — indicative, before GST.
Subscriptions are annualised as the price actually charged over 12 and 24 months, at the plan's standard billing rather than one-off sale prices.
What was deliberately not scored
Brand popularity, app-store or review-site ratings that cannot be verified, and placement percentages or salary figures — including LogicMojo AI & ML Course's own. For salary context, use independent benchmarks such as our data scientist salary, data analyst salary and AI engineer salary guides instead. None of these moved any score.
Commercial interest and update cadence
LogicMojo AI & ML Course publishes this page and ranks #1 under this weighting. Ratings are editorial and relative to this rubric — they are not independent audits. The page is reviewed every quarter; the next review is due in December 2026. Spotted an outdated fee? Contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions About DataCamp Alternatives
DataCamp (datacamp.com) is an online learning platform offering self-paced courses, skill tracks and career tracks in data science, AI, Python, R, SQL, Power BI and statistics.
Its full course catalogue is at https://www.datacamp.com/courses-all?page=1. It is not a study-abroad service, overseas admissions consultancy or physical camp.
How much does DataCamp cost in 2026?
Detailed answer
On 24 September 2026, DataCamp's pricing page showed Indian visitors Premium at ₹1,816 a month on monthly billing, or ₹14,339 a year (₹1,195 a month) on the regular annual plan — reduced to ₹598 a month billed annually under a 50% promotion.
Students get 50% off annual or 30% off monthly. A free Basic tier, Teams and Enterprise plans also exist. Promotions change, so confirm at checkout.
Is DataCamp worth the money?
Detailed answer
Yes, if you learn well alone and want broad, low-cost coverage of Python, R, SQL and BI tools.
It is weaker value if you have already finished a couple of tracks and still cannot start a project from a blank notebook — at that point more content rarely fixes the problem, and human review usually does.
Does DataCamp auto-renew, and can I get a refund?
Detailed answer
Yes, paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
DataCamp's support centre states that it does not refund or prorate unused time, and asks you to contact support if a renewal was charged within the last two weeks. After cancelling you keep access until the paid period ends, so cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Is a DataCamp certification recognised by employers?
Detailed answer
DataCamp's certifications, such as Data Scientist Associate, require timed exams plus a practical exam and are included in Premium at no extra cost, so they signal real effort.
How much weight an employer gives them varies by company and role; recognition claims come from DataCamp itself. In practice, a certification pairs best with a public portfolio a recruiter can open.
Does DataCamp offer job placement?
Detailed answer
No.
DataCamp is a self-paced learning platform and does not place learners in jobs. Its career services page links resume reviews and interview preparation to its certification programme, available to learners who pursue a DataCamp certification. If structured job assistance matters to you, look at mentor-led programmes and ask exactly what their assistance includes before paying.
Alternatives to DataCamp10 questions
What is the best alternative to DataCamp for live mentorship and job placement?
Detailed answer
LogicMojo offers one of the top alternatives to DataCamp, providing live interactive weekend classes, 1-on-1 dedicated mentorship, production-ready portfolio projects, and direct job placement support.
Why do learners look for DataCamp alternatives in 2026?
Detailed answer
While DataCamp is great for bite-sized browser coding practice, many learners look for alternatives to get deeper production-grade project experience, live instructor guidance, MLOps exposure, and structured career placement assistance.
What is the best free alternative to DataCamp?
Detailed answer
Kaggle Learn is one of the best free options for practicing Python, SQL, and Machine Learning with interactive in-browser notebooks and community-driven datasets.
Is Dataquest better than DataCamp?
Detailed answer
Dataquest is text-based and focuses heavily on guided project building rather than short video clips, making it a stronger choice for self-motivated learners who prefer writing code over watching lectures.
Can DataCamp courses alone help me land a job as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer?
Detailed answer
DataCamp is excellent for building foundational syntax skills, but landing a full-time role usually requires working on end-to-end deployed projects, system design, and interview preparation offered by high-support programs.
What are the best alternatives to DataCamp?
Detailed answer
By this page's weighting: LogicMojo AI & ML Course for live mentor-led learning with career support, GUVI for live classes in regional languages, Intellipaat for placement support, PW Skills for a low-fee GenAI syllabus, Dataquest as the closest self-paced swap, 365 Data Science for a bounded curriculum, Coursera Plus for university and industry certificates, Kaggle Learn for free practice, Codecademy Pro for interactive breadth and Udemy for single courses bought on sale.
What is the cheapest DataCamp alternative?
Detailed answer
Kaggle Learn is completely free.
Among paid options, the lowest entry points on the check date were Codecademy Plus at ₹300 a month billed annually, Udemy courses bought on sale, PW Skills' recorded Basic plan at ₹6,999, and DataCamp's own annual plan at ₹7,169 under its 50% promotion. Remember that the cheapest option is only affordable if you finish it — compare expected cost per completed outcome, not the sticker price.
Is there a free alternative to DataCamp?
Detailed answer
Yes.
Kaggle Learn offers free micro-courses in Python, pandas, machine learning and more, plus free notebooks (with a weekly GPU quota) and competitions on real datasets. DataCamp's own free tier and Dataquest's free lessons are also useful starting points. The trade-off is no mentor, no reviewed projects and certificates with limited signalling value.
Which is better, DataCamp or Dataquest?
Detailed answer
They suit different learners.
DataCamp has the broader catalogue, video lessons and more tools and languages. Dataquest is text-first and leans harder on guided projects, which some learners find transfers better to real work. If you finish courses but struggle with projects, try Dataquest's free lessons before switching.
Which DataCamp alternative has the best GenAI and agentic AI coverage?
Always check the current published syllabus for specifics such as LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases and MCP, because these change quickly.
LogicMojo AI & ML Course and job assistance4 questions
Is LogicMojo AI & ML Course a good alternative to DataCamp?
Detailed answer
Under this page's weighting, it ranks #1.
LogicMojo AI & ML Course is built for learners who want live mentor-led classes, projects started from a blank environment with human review, GenAI and agentic AI coverage and career support in one fee. Learners who only want a broad self-paced catalogue will find that need well covered by DataCamp itself.
How does LogicMojo AI & ML Course's fee compare with DataCamp's subscription?
Detailed answer
The LogicMojo AI & ML Course (7 months, ≈30 weeks) is listed at ₹87,000 inclusive of GST on its official page, with EMI advertised from ₹6,100 a month; a 15% early-enrolment offer of ₹73,950 was supplied by LogicMojo AI & ML Course for a limited period and is not shown publicly, so confirm the live figure and offer validity with LogicMojo AI & ML Course before enrolling.
It is a one-time fee with a fixed end date. Two years of DataCamp Premium costs ₹43,584 on monthly billing or ₹28,678 on the regular annual plan, so the subscription is cheaper in cash — compare what each fee includes, not just the total.
Does LogicMojo AI & ML Course provide job assistance?
Detailed answer
Yes.
LogicMojo AI & ML Course includes interview preparation, portfolio support and job assistance within the programme fee. As with any provider in this category, job assistance is support, not a guarantee of employment — ask for the exact services included and any eligibility conditions before you enrol.
Does LogicMojo AI & ML Course offer live classes and mentorship?
Detailed answer
Yes.
LogicMojo AI & ML Course is a live, mentor-led programme with instructor-led classes, doubt resolution and mentor access, with recordings available for sessions you miss. The current batch runs on weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST. This human feedback is the main thing a self-paced subscription like DataCamp does not include.
Beginners and working professionals4 questions
Which DataCamp alternative is best for beginners?
Detailed answer
Beginners who want structure and someone to ask should look at LogicMojo AI & ML Course; those starting on a zero budget should begin with Kaggle Learn or DataCamp's free tier.
Codecademy Pro and 365 Data Science are gentle paid self-paced options. Try a free module on two platforms before committing money to either.
Which is best for working professionals?
Detailed answer
Working professionals usually need fixed live sessions outside office hours, mentor feedback and interview preparation, which is why LogicMojo AI & ML Course is the primary pick here.
If you only need to fill one specific skill gap quickly, a single Udemy course or a focused Coursera specialisation can be more efficient than any full programme.
Can a non-CS graduate join these programs?
Detailed answer
Yes.
Every platform on this list accepts learners without a computer-science degree, and self-paced platforms have no entry requirement at all. Structured programmes may run an eligibility check or aptitude conversation, usually a short counselling call rather than a test. Non-CS switchers tend to benefit most from programmes that start at Python basics and include mentor review.
Should I keep DataCamp alongside a mentor-led course?
Detailed answer
It can work well.
Use a mentor-led programme for depth, reviewed projects and career preparation, and keep DataCamp for quick tool refreshers such as SQL, Power BI or a new library. Just set a date to review the subscription so the renewal does not run unused once your main programme is under way.
