A note from the author — why this guide reads differently
I’ve spent the last five years inside AI product teams — first as a senior PM owning an LLM-powered search surface at a large Indian product company, then building the AI-PM curriculum at LogicMojo. I’ve personally written 40+ AI PRDs, run 9 production evals, and shipped two RAG products that today serve millions of monthly queries. Everything you read below is filtered through that lens, not through marketing pages.
For this guide I sat through (or audited the full syllabus of) 100+ AI courses aimed at PMs — Coursera, edX, Reforge, Maven, Product School, ISB Exec Ed, IIM programs, LogicMojo, Udemy, Pragmatic, Section, and a long tail of cohort startups. I interviewed 50+ hiring managers across Flipkart, Razorpay, Swiggy, Microsoft India, Google India, Atlassian, GCCs and AI-native seed-stage teams. And I tracked 70+ PMs end-to-end — from the day they enrolled to the day they got (or didn’t get) the AI PM role.
This page is written the way I’d brief a friend over coffee: honest about what works, blunt about what doesn’t, and specific enough that you can act on it tonight. Where I’m inferring rather than measuring, I say so. Where a course paid for nothing here, I disclose it — no affiliate compensation influenced rankings, and LogicMojo’s #1 spot is explained with evidence and a public list of who it isn’t for.
